Internet is unstable, room is old, breakfast is awful. Not recommended at all.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Being next to a shopping mall and bar/restaurant the location is very good. However, when I walked in it smelt damp, looked damp and felt damp. Damp patches are evident on the walls where the wallpaper is discoloured/peeling and the paintwork is bubbling. This I’m sure has a lot to do with low occupancy levels during the recent pandemic. Having stayed in the Jatra many times previously, it is disappointing to see a marked deterioration in the fabric of the building. Significant investment is required to bring it back up to standard. A final point, there is a choice of having a no smoking room; perhaps an area of the restaurant could be designated no smoking too. Arriving for breakfast newly showered and feeling fresh, I was then subjected to cigarette smoke from all directions. I left breakfast smelling like an ashtray.

they upgraded my room into deluxe room due to unavailable requested bed. so my room is bigger, but the air conditioner was terrible. it was very hot especially at night. i couldn't sleep well

Terrible internet, bad beds, good location

My god the beds are uncomfortable. THey are old hard mattresses and for a king bed you get 2 old flat pillows. The rooms are getting more and more tires and need new furnishing. Due to less occapancy they are currently mostly running on 1 elevator, which is a real pain , it can take 10 min to get down . The internet is terrible, it is open so as soon as the mall opens everyone can use it and its so slow its stupid. Its unusable 23.5 hrs a day its so so slow. Restaurant is still ok, considering the covid restrictions they do a good job, weirdly there is NO hand sanitizer available in the restaurant ! Sadly the pool bar is closed.

Convenient Place to Stay

The main advantage of this hotel is its location straight next to the mall. An easy access to pubs and shops nearby. The restaurant looks homy and live music was nice. The quality of the food wasn’t the best one

Size of the hotel room was large enough and comfortable for the standard rooms. Sheets were cleaned and floors in the room was mopped daily. However, there were a few cockroaches found in the public / common areas. Was also having a massage in the room when someone rang the doorbell twice. Was getting ready before walking to the door when the person opened the hotel room door but closed it immediately after realizing there were people in the room. This was not right for room service / housekeeping.
