Nice little getaway
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were down from Perth with our dog gor a weekend away. The accommodation was just what we needed, the photos are a good indication of the layout and amenities. Super clean, comfy bed, and a great fire and heater, so despite the cold weather we were cosy. Very relaxing and easy get away..

Great little cottage

Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice quiet get away! Location was easy to find and kept clean. Unfortunately no hand soap which was an inconvenience till we brought our own. Bathroom could have been cleaned a little better.
Over all nice relaxing place with friendly horses.
Will return in the near future.

Lovely property but needs maintenance

Minor maintenance -doors hard to shut, family of lizards living on front deck, trees growing into windows. Air con not working to capacity. Someone has really done hard work initially on this restoration and this farmstay property could easily be beautiful again. Area is scenic and resident horses Jack and Bowie enjoyed our apples!

Hi Wendy. Thanks for your review. As it happens we are pausing accom bookings shortly to freshen up. The cottage is booked consistently so it gets well used, but also as a result gets a bit knocked around. It’s popularity also makes it tricky to find a window to do works. But we recognize it’s due. Hence the pause. We hope to have you back to visit when it’s refreshed. A

Quiet, cosy and comfortable

No TV but a warm log fire, board games and books....perfect place to unwind with simple pleasures to entertain. Rustic simplicity at its best....thank you!

Peaceful location
Publié le 23 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayA lovely property set in a peaceful location and only a short driving distance to the township of Balingup. Once the fire is going, it's very cosy and warm. Wonderful views of the surrounding land. The water pressure to the bathroom basin was very low and it wasn't easy to regulate the shower temperature. Had to run the water for some time before we had hot water. Sink tap in kitchen had a leak and I used chux wipes around tap to try to stop water flooding the wood bench top. A plumber is probably needed to fix this. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you :-)

Absolutely perfect!
