Thank you for staying with us at Del Congos de Uvita. Per our conversations I agree you will see more wildlife on our grounds then all of the national parks you visit since we are surrounded by primary forest. It was unfortunate that you chose to leave a week early because you wanted to visit northern Costa Rica. I’m sure you appreciate the helpful information I gave you for your travels . One of the people in your group was severely handicapped and even though our description shows that 80% of the house is on one level unfortunately there were still some challenges . A description of the house clearly states there are only three bedrooms and sleeping for eight persons.A description of the house clearly states there are only three bedrooms and sleeping for eight persons. The Renter booked the house stating there would be six persons and only paid for six persons yet showed up with eight persons by the end of the week . It is clearly stated that there is an extra charge for bedding etc. for over six persons which you were not charged . The Renter requested that we purchase specially all glass wine and water glasses (Highly discouraged due to ceramic floors), they broke several glasses and bowls. Our listing does not allow large parties and they violated that rule several times and even requested bedding for 12 persons prior to my arrival. Cleaning is included at the end of the stay. Totally optional cleaning can be purchased otherwise Renter can perform the services . After I arrived I stoped by several times to talk and noticed renters had left the house filthy . I personally pay the maid twice for extra cleaning to protect my house . Our on-site caretaker is here 24/7 and addressed all questions or concerns . The husband stated to my caretaker “ don’t worry about my wife she just likes tocomplain !” Since I was staying at the other house , my caretaker got permission from the Renter to take his annual vacation since I was there . The renter arrive three hours early for check-in and had to wait for house cleaning to be completed . We are very sorry for any inconveniences but think it best that you don’t return .

Usually houses are right next to each other but not here. You are one with the jungle with the most magnificent view of the ocean in all of Uvita. Patty, I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Because of the elevation we are at there’s really no need for air conditioning. However, we installed it in the master suite in the event of a special need of elderly or large people. It gets quite cool at night! Pura Vida
