Beautiful home
Publié le 16 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a top notch house. There’s a reason why it’s all five star reviews. I loved every second of it. The living room can get a little hot since there is no AC due to the open air around the rooftop, but you can always open the sliders. I was just not wanting so many bugs in. So when I got too hot, I’d go sit by the lovely pool and be immediately cool. I saw monkeys, toucans, iguanas, the most beautiful hummingbirds I’ve ever seen in my life. Really spectacular. The owners and the manager are just fantastic. Great communication.

Great Honeymoon Getaway!

Absolutely fantastic!!!! We had a little trouble finding the place because I wasn’t familiar with Whatsapp but after that it was smooth sailing. It was a dream stay!! I can’t wait to go back!

Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I stayed at Gorda Vista Jungle Villa for a belated honeymoon for one week. It was a magical place, set well into the mountain jungle, almost two miles from the main road. The pictures are accurate but don’t do it justice.
Doug kept in contact with us and met us at the Super Dominical, then escorted us up to the property. It was breathtaking in the limited daylight, and we woke to see the whole property the next morning.
Definitely take advantage of the concierge service with Juli Harris. It helps with getting an idea of what activities you can enjoy when you are in the area.
I was disappointed that during our stay, we didn’t see any monkeys or sloths from the house (although we did see them elsewhere), but we saw an iguana, basilisk, butterflies, Toucans, bats,and could hear Howler monkeys.
Just so you know, it does take a 4WD to get there and it’s at least a 3 hour drive from the San Jose airport. This was the best VRBO we’ve stayed in!

Perfect and Private Getaway Home
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is an exceptional house in a remote and private area. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. The best feature of the home is the pool. It’s perfect for lounging and laps. We will definitely come again. Make sure to rent a 4x4 - the mile trip from the main road to the home climbs about 500 feet and can get pretty rough in the rain.

Wunderschönes Haus in den Bergen
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayErstklassige Einrichtung und toller Ausblick. Mit 4x4 Wagen doch manchmal nach dem Regen schwierig zu erreichen, weil doch sehr steil. Wir haben uns aber daran gewöhnt und Übung darin bekommen.
Sehr einsam gelegen mit hohem Sicherheitszaun umgeben.
Der Pool ist einmalig und wird top sauber gehalten.
20 Minuten zu einem großen Supermarkt.
Bestes Erlebnis fanden wir die Wanderung bei der Hacienta

Lovely stay in the Costa Rica jungle

The grounds and home are beautiful and well kept. Gorgeous views and all of the kind people we met made our stay in Costa Rica such a fantastic experience. We had a great trip and highly recommend this property.

Amazing property

We've stayed in the Dominical/Uvita area for the past 3, and this has been our favorite house so far. The location is amazing, the house is very clean, and the pool is the largest we've experienced. We had such a great time listening to monkeys and toucans while drinking coffee in the morning. We visited a close by waterfall multiple times, our boys surfed for 3 days, we went to Reptilandia, went to several different beaches, had great meals at restaurants and at the house. This vacation was one of the best we've ever had. The hosts were great and showed us to the property upon arrival and were very responsive. We can't wait to return!

Quiet Retreat
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house/property was clean, comfortable and a peaceful place to stay. It was a perfect home base for our adventurous family of four (2 teenagers). I probably would not recommend for families with small children due to the open floor plan. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. There were a few games that we enjoyed. Our favorite area was the patio where we would sit every morning and evening even if it was raining. We enjoyed watching for wildlife. Bring your binoculars. Animals we saw on the property include: toucans, coatimundi, capuchin monkeys, lizards, iguanas, poison dart frog, bats, agouti, and the most magical blue morpho butterfly.
The hosts are very nice and seem readily available if need be. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Dominical.

Phantastic location
Publié le 17 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house has a fantastic location and is beautiful. The outside area with the pool is fantastic. You are in the middle of the jungle, you can see toucans and other birds and hear the howler monkeys in the trees.
