The rooms are basic, clean, and functional. The air conditioner was barely able to cool the room enough for daytime sleeping probably due to poor seals around the window and door.The shower was cold water only and was missing a shower head so water just poured out of an open pipe....functionally okay. The bathroom was stocked with paper and a couple kinds of soaps. The towels and bedding were of decent quality and clean. The shared refrigerator was very full so space was limiting and the ice maker could keep up with guest demand. The kitchen was decently stocked and the dinning area was nice but a bit stuffy.....could use some ceiling fans. Be prepared to pay in full in cash upon arrival because they have no online or credit card capability and there's no ATM in the neighborhood. The reasons for the unsatisfied review are due to way the host, Natalia, handled a couple issues as follows: 1. There is no sign to turn off the air conditioner when not in the room. We returned to a hot and stuffy room one night because the power to the air conditioner was disconnected without any explanation or note. Since the host was not there it took awhile to get the situation remedied. 2. Without going into too many details just be warned that NO guests are even allowed on site. This requirement is not clearly listed anywhere. This means if a friend comes there to go to lunch with you they have to wait outside on the street. The unsatisfied review is mainly due to this issue.

Beautiful property, nice pool, air conditioning, access to fridge and kitchen. The wifi signal was very weak, tiny bathroom too small to get dressed in was a problem staying with three people. The hotel listing doesn't match the actual hotel. The hotel is located down a long rocky dirt road. It's a 15 or 20 minute walk to get food in the heat unless you have a car or take an uber. It would be nice to have access to food closer but mainly as a traveler without phone service in Costa Rica I needed the wifi to be better.
