Lovely cottage in speyside
Posted Oct. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayIt was a great stay for us. We did the dramathon, so a bit of a ride to the start, but it was such a lovely home. All the amenities taken care of, beautiful water view in the back garden. All communications and instructions were clear. It was so cozy, we loved our stay here.

Wonderful Waterside Cottage
Posted Jun. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayThe location was lovely--complete with the sound of the river behind the cozy and inviting back garden. The house was charming, and was a wonderful place to relax after our day trips. Information on the surrounding area was so helpful, and inspired some wonderful walks.

Perfection!
Posted Oct. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayMy family of 4 adults stayed at this cottage, and were very pleased with every single aspect of it. Great location for the Northern Highlands, gorgeous garden, and informative host.

Wonderful!!
Posted Sep. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayGreat cottage! It had EVERYTHING we needed and wanted! Very clean and just adorable. Laura and Ben were very easy to get ahold of with any questions we may have had about our stay. Would highly recommend if staying in the Aberlour area.

Relaxing few days in a beautiful spot
Posted Sep. 3, 2023 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay in this very cosy cottage. The accommodation was very well equipped and clean. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. The location and surrounding area is just beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely walk from the door to the Glenlivet Distillery, the bar was very welcoming and the soft drinks, coffee and whiskey were all great, so everyone was happy! We also drove out to Ben Rinnes on a beautiful sunny day and had a great walk up to the top, the views were spectacular. We also drove out to Aviemore and did a lovely walk to Loch an eilein.
Unfortunately the Wi-fi in the cottage was poor, we didn't take OS maps with us, so it was really tricky to plan walking routes without the internet and the double bed really really needs upgrading.
We will be back to Scotland next year, it never ever disappoints :)

Lovely stay by the water side
Posted Jul. 16, 2023 on HomeAwayThe cottage is in an idyllic location, we loved sitting in the back garden overlooking the river! The Packhorse bridge is just a few steps away and the Glenlivet Distillery is within easy walk as well as a lovely trail to Drumin Castle.
The cottage itself is beautiful and well furnished, with comfy beds and sofas. We especially enjoyed the board games and magazines! Some fresh supplies in the kitchen (like milk) would be appreciated but everything else you might need was there. We had a great stay, its the perfect place for both relaxing in the cottage or exploring the highlands by car.
