Best part about this hotel is by far the location. The rooms were average at best. Beds and pillows were poor and the air conditioner didn’t work. Ok for a quick one night stay but look elsewhere for extended stays.

Great location in a historic building. Our room was a bit warm and the building is old so there was no real way to get it cooler. Pillows were a little worn out but overall a wonderful stay. The staff was super helpful, the location was unbeatable and the lobby was well furnished/decorated. The bathroom was completely remodeled!

Admiral Fell has fallen, and he can’t get up.
There’s a difference between historic and shabby. Unfortunately, this has become the latter. Unusable furniture, broken outlets, the desk taken up by a microwave, no hooks or storage space in the bathroom…I can go on. Also, no security even though it is in a pretty wild area. Non-guests can easily get up to guest floors. Plus, and this trend kills me, if you get to the hotel 2 hours before check in time, they have the nerve to say you can check in early—for $30, even if your room is already made up. To do what…sit on dirty old furniture. And this was all for $300/night. We won’t be Felled again.

Overall, just okay. Very old/run-down property. But very good location close to all the "Happenings" in Fells point and close enough to where we needed to go for game time (M&T Bank Stadium).
