The wording and pictures online was misleading!! The Mansion is dark and dingy. It’s cluttered with paintings, real stuffed animals, demonic statues and pics. The B&B smelled old and stuffy in the rooms. Inside of my room the bathroom shower door was off the hinges, area rug was dirty the mattress was hard and old, I could feel the springs. I thought about sleeping in my car but outside was so dark and creepy. This was the worst B&B I’ve ever experienced!! There was nothing Elegant about this place!!!

Hi Tonya,We are sorry to hear your experience at the B&B didn’t live up to your standards. We understand that the mansion has a very unique aesthetic that is not for everyone. The bride you were friends with unfortunately thought so differently of the place and found it beautiful and elegant enough to have her wedding here. We know that the owner has quite the collection of trinkets and antiques that flood the mansion halls and that style is not for everyone’s liking. Some of the maintenance issues you described could have been addressed during your stay had we been made aware of them. The house is from 1902 and we know there are things that need attention. You also unfortunately didn’t get to indulge in the breakfast which is one of the best parts of the whole experience with staying here.All of our 5 star reviews from previous guests show that there are people out there who are thoroughly pleased by what we have to offer. We hope you enjoyed the complimentary late check out and upgrade to a larger room and hope you have better experiences at B&B’s in the future.All the best,Management at Gramercy Mansion

Beautiful and charming place for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay, but there are expansive grounds to walk and relax in as well. Our bed was extremely comfortable as well. Easy to get to and from Baltimore from here.

Beautifully appointed B & B
Publié le 24 juill. 2023 sur HotelsWe spent one night at this beautifully appointed B & B. We were greeted with a very friendly front staff person who quickly showed us to our room. As a note if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or are elderly this hotel does not have an elevator so getting up to the third floor where our room might be a bit of a challenge! The room was cozy and very quiet but sadly our mattress was one of the worst I have ever slept in. Overall the morning breakfast was utterly FABULOUS and made to order so that helped ease the lack of sleep and the back ache I woke with due to the mattress.

This is an unusual kind of place, a magnificent mansion that's been beautifully restored. The breakfasts are wonderful (haven't had other meals there) and the staff, including the owner, could not be nicer or more helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat!

Gramercy Mansion is one of the best places we have ever visited. This place is extremely serene and the landscapes around the mansion are breathtaking. The staff which also includes the owners are super friendly and passionate. We enjoyed browsing through the phenomenal art collection and the gift shop and grateful to make some valuable purchases. We look forward to visit them again in near future.
