Guy and Clelia are the most amazing hosts, the house was lovely, the room big and the bed comfy. And the breakfast was great, too. Absolutely recommended :)

Beautiful home in downtown Baltimore.

Wilson House run by an elderly couple
Publié le 12 oct. 2023 sur HotelsWe stayed 3 days at the Wilson House for a little vacation. The couple that runs the place was very polite. They make a fruit parfait in the morning, and pancakes. The food was okay. The man talked a lot about his experience in the military and working for the government, and also his accomplishments.

Christopher,Thank you for reminding us of our age.However, Clelia looks and acts like she is 50, and until very recently people generally guessed my age as 64 or so, but I now feel like I am 100, what with a good bit of back and knee problems lately, so I guess that makes our average about 75 and that does make us elderly on average, but we are too busy to think about it. Glad you mentioned the pancakes. They are a recipe that Clelia developed over a several-month period nearly 20 years ago. Many ask for the recipe as she is a super cook, and most folks love our breakfasts. We try to make them very special with antique German china that has been in my family for over 50 years, Irish crystal, and 100-plus-year-old silverware we had restored in Peru, plus her great food.

Loved the themes and decor in the rooms. The historic home is beautiful and the owners are so very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was healthy and so flavorful. The hostess is a wonderful cook. We did so enjoy our time there.

The owners keep great care of the house and their guests, always helpful to your requests. The location and price is unbeatable, a healthy breakfast always gets your day started with a smile.

She is a master of the kitchen, the dining room, indeed the whole house.. She reminds me of the Japanese ladies I met during my 7 years there.Enjoyed talking to a fellow vet.

This is an outstanding place. It’s no accident that they have earned a Best of Baltimore award 12 years in a row. Gracious hosts, delicious cooked breakfasts, the run of a Victorian mansion stuffed with beautiful antiques and interesting memorabilia from the host’s remarkable career in the US Navy. Tranquillity is breakfast on fine china, crystal glasses and silverware, listening to Mozart and studying the intricacies of the model ships on display. Highly recommended.
