Staff was very friendly and greeted us with chilled towels and tea upon check in. The room was clean with good air conditioning. We didn’t spend much time in the room, but the location was walkable to lots of restaurants and coffee shops, as well as the temples. Definitely try out the coffee shop Petit Soliel across the street. Easy access to taxis outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, good price, Dated Decor.
The front desk and house keeping staff were absolutely excellent. My wife forgot a night gown in the room and they actually held it for us and got it back to us when we came back through Bangkok on our way home. However, the restaurant staff were a bit rude, every morning at breakfast they would almost shout “what is your room number!?”. Also, the decor of the hotel is dated and definitely not as nice as shown on the hotel’s website. The workout equipment in the gym did not work. The location is excellent- very close to Phra Arthit Pier, the National Museum, the Grand Palace. The room was clean.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The only thing is the bathroom in our room had a very musky smell to it but otherwise the rooms are nice. The pool was nice and swim up bar was convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

I mean it depends why you are here in Bangkok. In my opinion, you are within walking distance of temples, bars, shops, and men and women of all kinds. It's a great place to experience thailand for beginners in my opinion. And Chillax was excellent. A rose among thorns. I was worried at first when I pulled onto the road its on... but the hotel is excellent inside and the neighborhood, although seemingly dirty, is very safe and friendly. You'll see many young women out walking at night and even going to ATMs out in the open. I'm from Philadelphia. I feel safer in Bangkok haha I extended my stay at Chillax. 🙏

Definitely worth staying here
Check in was easy, the room was clean and the staff is friendly. The hotel is close to restaurant and shops but far enough to get all the noise from it. It is a 5 minutes walk to the Phra Arthit Pier and 7-11 and 15-20 walks to the Grand Palace and MRT. The pool is very nice though it closes at 8pm. I would if like to enjoy it until 10pm. The shampoo and body wash bottles have very small opening so it took some effort to get the soap out. I highly recommend this place.
