Close to concert hall

Centrally located, questionable neighborhood
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPlenty of places to sleep, not a place to stay and hang out in. It has good laundry facilities and a small kitchen that is enough to prepare a meal, but not really a place to share a meal at. If you’re planning on a lot of people, note that there is only one shower. Many of the lights off of the bedrooms are motion sensitive and take 5 minutes to turn off. There is an outdoor entertainment arena nearby which makes this place convenient if you’re planning on attending a concert there, but is so close that it is very loud very late at night if you’re not attending the concert. Due to the downtown location, it might not be the best place for a family but we didn’t have any issues when we stayed there, and never felt unsafe.

Clean but odd
Publié le 21 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThere were five of us which meant we used all the bedrooms and the sleeping area in the living room. Not very much room for us all to be in the same area. Oddest part is that most of the lights were on sensors and could not be turned off. So, anytime someone walked thru the kitchen or used downstairs bathroom the lights would come on waking people up.

Fabulous Experience!
Publié le 16 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe travelled from Nova Scotia to see a concert. The location was absolutely amazing. Perfect for walking! A couple of us didn’t attend the concert but we could hear it clearly from the little back yard setup. Also close to Stephen Kings house and just a short car ride to some great shopping. The house was great with space to spread out. We used the dining table as prep space and ate our meals in the backyard space under the fairy lights and trees. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in on vacation and the house was spotless! Our host went above and beyond for our group, answering a couple questions we had right away. When we left something behind, he kindly shipped it to us which was far more than we expected from them. I will definitely be staying here anytime I come for shopping and a concert!

Nice, clean house. Enjoyed our stay. Didn’t like that much that it is close to a healthcare building where there’s a lot of homeless people .

Visiting family in Maine
Publié le 17 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe neighborhood was a little rough but we found it to be no big deal . The location was good, close to downtown and the River walk which we enjoyed. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the sitting area outside. We would stay again when we come to Bangor.
