Close to concert hall
We rented this house because we came down from Canada to see a concert. Not even five minutes after leaving the concert we were back at the house, perfect location.

Centrally located, questionable neighborhood
Plenty of places to sleep, not a place to stay and hang out in. It has good laundry facilities and a small kitchen that is enough to prepare a meal, but not really a place to share a meal at. If you’re planning on a lot of people, note that there is only one shower. Many of the lights off of the bedrooms are motion sensitive and take 5 minutes to turn off. There is an outdoor entertainment arena nearby which makes this place convenient if you’re planning on attending a concert there, but is so close that it is very loud very late at night if you’re not attending the concert. Due to the downtown location, it might not be the best place for a family but we didn’t have any issues when we stayed there, and never felt unsafe.

Clean but odd
There were five of us which meant we used all the bedrooms and the sleeping area in the living room. Not very much room for us all to be in the same area. Oddest part is that most of the lights were on sensors and could not be turned off. So, anytime someone walked thru the kitchen or used downstairs bathroom the lights would come on waking people up.

Fabulous Experience!
We travelled from Nova Scotia to see a concert. The location was absolutely amazing. Perfect for walking! A couple of us didn’t attend the concert but we could hear it clearly from the little back yard setup. Also close to Stephen Kings house and just a short car ride to some great shopping. The house was great with space to spread out. We used the dining table as prep space and ate our meals in the backyard space under the fairy lights and trees. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in on vacation and the house was spotless! Our host went above and beyond for our group, answering a couple questions we had right away. When we left something behind, he kindly shipped it to us which was far more than we expected from them. I will definitely be staying here anytime I come for shopping and a concert!

The neighborhood was a little rough but we found it to be no big deal . The location was good, close to downtown and the River walk which we enjoyed. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the sitting area outside. We would stay again when we come to Bangor.

Weekend in Bangor For a Show
Came to Bangor to see a concert. This property is a five minute walk to the venue as well as a couple of blocks to the restaurant ls and bars downtown. You can actually listen to the sound check from the yard. House was very clean and was a good hole base for a weekend in Maine. The owner was quick to respond to any of our questions.

The apartment was very nice and welcoming. The owner was very responcive with any concerns or questions i had. The neighborhood was not the nicest but we were not home a lot, so it wasnt an issue. GREAT location if your looking to do anything SK. Would stay again.

Great location!
The house was clean and exactly as described and shown on the pictures. Easy to get in and out. Close to downtown and local shops and about 10 min to the Bangor Mall. The beds were so comfortable that we didn’t want to get up in the morning. Will definitely book again if we come bck to Bangor.

Great location
The house was clean and had plenty of room for 6 adults. Cute outdoor space as well.! It was a great location and close to everything. 10 minute walk to the cross center and Hollywood casino and about a15 minute walk to Main Street shops and Stephen Kings home. I would highly recommend this home to rent.

We had a great time in Bangor. Robert was very responsive with any questions we had. The house was perfect for us as it was close to everything we needed, and it was a short drive to UMaine. Also, the beds were so comfortable! Thanks for accommodating us!

Great location for downtown Bangor, Stephen King fans & Maine Savings Ampitheater
This was my first visit to Bangor - I came because I’m a Stephen King nerd. Did the 2pm tour and then checked-in afterwards. To my delight, this is right across the street from house SK imagined was Bev Marsh’s house in the novel IT, and literally around the corner (1 minute walk) from a Dunkin’ Donuts (where Tabitha King used to work before SK made it big). Directly across the street from the Dunkin is the Ampitheater. If you stand on the hill behind the Dunkin you can see the Jumbotron from outside the stadium - free show! I got lucky - Luke Combs and Aerosmith were performing the weekend I went. Property manager was quick with response for door code and answering questions. Nice clean beds, clean bathrooms. Small kitchen - zero counter space; great if you’re dining out every meal, but definitely not so great for cooking. Also couldn’t get any service up there - but that’s on me as I never reached out to inquire about a Wi-Fi password. It seems to be an issue all over Bangor, because some of my messages never went through. 2 Notes for Consideration: This is close to the water and there are lots of nearby restaurants on the water, but the house itself is not waterfront. Also, If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay, this location is NOT for you. It’s a convenient location but a constantly loud area - neighbors blast music and of course you will hear everything playing from the stadium at night. Personally it didn’t bother me at all, but I’m sure others wouldn’t like it. You can walk downtown, but I took a car as it was pretty easy to find parking. There’s a lot of little restaurants and shops close together, so it’s good to park and walk. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to run into Mr. King! Overall I had a great experience, I would definitely stay here again!
