Great place to stay for a concert

It’s on a quiet street but still close to the venue and casino.

Great house in a quite neighberhood

The kitchen is well equipped, there a a lot of rooms.
The neighberhood is nice and quiet.
it is loacted just 5 minutes driving from Maine saving theathere, on the way back from the show, while everyone stood in trafic, we walled back to the house !
Cindy was great, answering all our questions before and during the stay .

Bangor Was the Perfect Hub
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time. Bangor is great to take day trips and has some really great restaurants. Our accommodations were good. We wished there had been dressers, closets or armoires for hanging and storing clothes Otherwise, the house was lovely and very nice.

Hi Polly! We're so happy that you had a good time in Bangor. However, we are baffled by your comment about no closets or dressers at the house. Each bedroom has a closet except for the middle bedroom, which has a gigantic dresser with drawers. There is also a huge walk-in closet next to the master bedroom, which has drawers and hanging space. Plus, there's another closet in the hallway outside of the yellow bedroom. We would've loved a message sent to us asking us where they were because we would have been happy to have directed you.. We're sorry we deserved a three star review because you didn't see them. We hope you return and try again. ❤️

Charming historic home
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a charming home. It was fun walking through all the rooms and seeing the history of the house. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom towels were super plush. Our host, Cindy, was so great to work with. We stayed in the heat of July and Cindy provided fans for the bedrooms since there is no a/c. We were able to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor while we were there. Great downtown to drive through as well. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Very nice home

Cozy retreat

We had one night that was a little warm due to unseasonable Maine heat, but we were otherwise comfortable as the weather cooled in the evenings. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was indeed the gathering spot. We wished for more ceiling fans but realize this is an historic home. It's charm outweighed our concerns.
