I had high hopes for this hotel. It’s not worth what we paid for. You’re basically paying for an overpriced cabin that has moldy toiletries, and really bad service. No one was even there to welcome you. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in the Philippines. Please don’t waste your time or money! If you’re in Alaminos you might as we’ll go to Thunderbird resort for the experience & great service.

The place is very nice but the road heading to the resort was terrible and hard to find. The owner should spend the money and paved the road. Its very hard for the car to reach this place having unpaved roads. No wifi, very disappointing.

The architecture was excellent using old recovered building timbers.

Bad stay due to staff error at most critical point

We had an almost perfect stay until we have to check out where their staff found out 1 bath towel is missing. They ask us to pay 500 for the missing towel and so we did. My brother did another check in the room and the mssing towel was found at the back of the bathroom door. I think even lets say that the towel was missing, we were inappropriately being charged and even being acused of taking home 1 of their towels. From that last experience i dont think our family will be back there again. Its annoying and insulting how a RETURNING guests will be charged and acused just like that. Overall the place is nice but i think they should check their policy.

The staff turned on the lights and the jacuzzi at the pool only when we asked them to. We weren’t advised about when the best time is to go to the beach. It was low tide when we went which was disappointing given the trekking that we had to take.

The only dissatisfaction we had was we didn’t have a WiFi and weren’t told that their WiFi was not available when my husband needed it for work and karaoke at the restaurant for dinner when we were hoping a nice family time dinner. Everything was great and beautiful! The services were superb!
