Needs improvement but could be great

Pros- very responsive host! - great view of the mountains and slopes - relatively close to alot of stuff Cons- not clear at all how to get to the actual unit. They gave an address to a building on the opposite side of the property, there are 11 buildings so they need to be more clear on instructions on exactly what building to go to and what floor. -No pool/spa access- you have to scan a badge to get into the pool/hottub area and there was no access key left in the room, which the heated pool and hottub were the main reason I booked the place. While the hosts were quick to respond, they had no solution to the problem so this really needs to be addressed if you are like me and booked for the hottub. Very disappointed with this... - they need to be clear in the listing that the fireplace is not able to be used, they show pictures of it in the listing but don't mention that you can't use it. It's an electric fireplace so I don't know why we were told we can't use it but also a negative. If they fixed these issues it would be a pretty chill experience but based on my experience I would not book here again

Great place to stay! But lack of information.

This place was great! I booked it just to use their pool and hot tub. Called the host (Vrbo) to see if it was open, but they did what I did, they just looked up the website to see if it was open or not and told me "it says on their website that it's not open." Got there and spent many nights at the hot tub:) I understand they don't own the property, but still, they should have contacted the property manager to ask. Lack of communication with their own place they are using to rent for the public. Other than that, I had a great stay at the place with great views!

The view is astonishing, and a 12-minute drive of free entry to the grandfather mountain trail. The main gate to grandfather mountain took 15 to 20 minutes to drive. The room is small, but no issue for me, and we spend a few hours a day except for the toilet blocking.

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was done online. Only issues we had was we never received a parking pass and info we received said one was needed. Spoke with someone and they said they would bring one but never did. Also checkout was confusing. It said to turn in key at the office. We went there at 9am but nobody was there so we left it in the lock box at the room. Other than that the property was great.

Disappointed.

Furniture legs were all loose, blinds and baseboards very dusty. Bed was not proper made. Trash bag very fragil. I clean houses for living and seeing this the rentals that I clean are clean like if the queen was coming to stay.
