Wonderful, quiet 5-star condo with very thoughtful responsive host
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a wonderful stay at this lovely, quiet 5-star condo very convenient to the local area. Host was welcoming, very responsive via email or text message. Very easy check-in process to access the condo. Condo was very clean, spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen with many thoughtful touches. Host had a wonderful small supply of treats (tea, Keurig K-cups, instant oatmeal, popcorn, mints) to enjoy. Beds were clean and comfortable with linens in very good shape. Wi-fi worked well with more than adequate bandwidth for a party of three using multiple laptops and tablets. Website photos are representative of the condo. Host provided a very helpful guest book of local dining options, points of interest, etc. We ate in at several restaurants in the downtown area that were excellent: good food, good value for money and very pleasant outdoor atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to staying here again.

Perfect Location in Banner Elk
Publié le 2 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I came to Banner Elk with friends for a trip to the mountains and wineries. This location was a perfect base as we were near Grandfather Mountain, Boone, NC State Parks and wineries! Main St. Banner Elk was a very short walk - loved walking to town for a stroll on the Greenway and ice cream.
Condo was lovely - enough room for our group and kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we ate in on some nights.
When we visit, we'll definitely stay here!

Great get-away for our family!
Publié le 26 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed staying here for our ski trip to NC. Its location is perfect in downtown banner elk. It's so close that we could walk to dinner! It's also a great location for anyone wanting to ski both Beech and Sugar Mountain as we did. Our family of 5 was very comfortable here.

Great communication, Excellent Host, Needs Update
Publié le 21 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host was very gracious and thoughtful. The place was clean. The entire check in/out process was easy. Instructions were very clear. They even had "extras" of things we forgot, which came in super handy. You could walk to town. It's up a hill, but not overwhelming... Only a few nitpicks: The pillows were not good. The towels and washcloths were not good. The fireplace didn't work. The shower was incredibly small (I'm an average sized person). It is an older cabin. It could use an update.

Only a couple notes: parking is very much a challenge so bring the smallest vehicle you can get away with and the TV could be a little bigger. Otherwise, a really great place and nice stay.
