'Sugar Getaway' - Updated and Private!

Enjoy your visit to Sugar Mountain in this spectacular cabin at 4,650 ft elevation. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log home is a beautiful place to stay any season of the year. It offers a gourmet kitchen that’s fully equipped, Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer for you to use. Each bedroom is nicely decorated and has its own TV and ceiling fan. The living room has vaulted ceilings and a cozy fireplace to warm up during the winter. The cabin has grand decks and a covered porch area where guests can relax in the rockers and enjoy the surrounding nature. This cabin is just a short drive to skiing, golf, tennis, hiking, and more. Non-smoking. Absolutely NO Pets from December through March. Pet-friendly may be available seasonally. There are pet size/breed and number restrictions please confirm with us before booking. Please acknowledge that there is a $100 pet fee(per pet). No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests are required to sign their rental agreement within 7 days of booking.

Lovely stay
We had a lovely time. The property was beautiful, close to groceries and activities, and very comfortable. The property managers were prompt, kind, and sent someone right away when we couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower in the owner suite (user error, not at all a fault with the property). We would absolutely stay again.

This is the perfect cabin for a family getaway! It’s very convenient to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, restaurants, and shops. Everything was clean and perfect during our stay! We will definitely be back!

Myself and my family of 6 (2 adults, 3 young adults, 1 child) all LOVED our time spent at this cabin!! The views are even better in person and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Enough space for us all to enjoy being together without feeling on top of each other. Once you book your stay here, but sure to read through the guest book (our family left a rather detailed entry) to find out about the local things to do and see that you might not find online so easily. 10/10 recommend this cabin!!! Thank you to the hosts for providing such a beautiful, welcoming cabin for my family to create more core memories.

House was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Great location- close to Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain. Only minor hassle is needing to go to the rental company’s physical location to pick up key/key code for entrance. Would be more convenient to receive a text with the code when the home is keyless entry.

This cabin was amazing! It was clean, well-equipped, beautifully decorated and very cozy. My family and I just loved this beautiful cabin. The location is wonderful in proximity to Sugar Mountain where we skied.

Wonderful location and a great property- clean and convenient to many things. Check in could be more convenient if they would just email you the code when the house is ready instead of having to go to the office (which isn’t far but just inconvenient to have to go). Would also be nice to have starter shampoo and conditioner but it’s really well stocked otherwise. Plenty of board games for kids to play.

Another great week
This was our second year staying at the house. It’s perfect for us. The master suite is very comfortable with a great king bed and a large bathroom/double sink/standup shower. In addition to a huge jacuzzi tub. Kitchen is very well stocked. The tall ceilings with multiple windows make you feel like you’re outside even though you’re all warm and cozy inside. From anywhere in the house or outside, you are barely aware of the surrounding houses. We will definitely be back.
