Beautiful Mountain Top, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-6)
Spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath top floor condo with sleeper loft

This is a Top Floor Loft Unit........ not to be confused with some lower level units listed! Top floor units have vaulted ceilings in the master bedroom and dining/living room areas - giving them a more open, roomier feel. A wall of windows allows for a great view of the mountains looking from the inside out. Climb the spiral staircase to the sleeping loft. Take in the amazing views from the deck which also has a vaulted ceiling!

Relax in our beautiful, fully furnished home away from home.

We are located in Echota on the Ridge in the small town of Foscoe, North Carolina, just minutes from Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Falls/Caverns and the Original Mast General Store are all just a short drive away. Enjoy the cooler temperatures during June, July and August while everyone else is sweltering. The surrounding mountains turn into a patchwork quilt of oranges, reds, yellows and browns as Mother Nature transitions from summer to fall. Winter activities abound at Hawksnest Snow Tubing or one of the local ski resorts - Appalachian, Sugar Mountain or Beech Mountain.

When we say top of the mountain, we mean the TOP of the mountain! Echota on the Ridge is beautifully situated atop the ridgeline where the views are as unforgettable as the memories! Located on 97 scenic acres, this gated community features breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Take in the spectacular ridge-top views from our spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo. The unit will comfortably sleep up to 6 people.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with an ensuite bathroom (tub/shower combo), plus direct access to the deck!

The guest suite includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed and adjoining bathroom (tub/shower combo). The suite can be closed off from the rest of the unit for added privacy.

Both bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs and Roku / Netflix for your enjoyment.

Loft area features 2 twin beds. Perfect for letting the kids unwind and be kids.

Relax in the Family Room and watch your favorite TV show or movie on the 42-inch flat screen HDTV - cable and DVD player are provided for your pleasure. Enjoy music from the local radio stations or your favorite CDs with our deluxe sound system - outside deck speakers allow you to listen to music as you sit on the deck and gaze out across the mountain ridges. After a busy day of exploring the High Country, warm up in front of our stacked-stone gas fireplace with a glass of wine or cup of hot cocoa.

In addition, you will find a great selection of Family / Kid DVDs, board games and books to use during your visit.

Whether cooking in or ordering carry-out, our dining set will comfortably seat 6 with additional seating at the breakfast bar.

If you like to cook, you will find all the essentials necessary to put together a culinary delight for you and your guests.

But we saved one of the best features for last - our DECK! Enjoy the breath-taking, panoramic mountain views as you relax and unwind in one of our Adirondack gliders.

A table, benches and electric grill are also available on the deck for alfresco dining.

An indoor pool and fitness center is located in the Echota Clubhouse (a quick five-minute drive away) or it’s just a short walk to the beautiful Echota on the Ridge Clubhouse (it's absolutely gorgeous). The Clubhouse is the perfect place to play a game of pool, swim in the outdoor pool, workout on the exercise equipment, connect to the free internet, or just sit and enjoy the many comforts while reading a book or watching the big screen TV.

The condo was perfect in location, accommodation, and supplies. The owners go out of their way to make sure any need or want is provided. We stay here because “no pets are allowed”. We hope they continue to have no pets. We look forward to returning again.

We really enjoyed this property - the owners are very thoughtful and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Definitely a kid-friendly rental, has pack-n-play, high chairs, and kid dishes/utensils in the kitchen. Location is great for easy access to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Would stay here again for sure. Views are A!!

Absolutely stunning, clean, perfect for families!
Very impressed with this property and the owner!! This had everything we would need even for children including toys and dinnerware. The property was decorated for Christmas and just felt like home!! We had plenty of space and this was immaculately clean. The only concern we had, that has nothing to do with the owner/property itself but this location was literally on the top of the mountain (as listed in the description) and the terrain getting up was dicey after it snowed but the actual resort area was clear. It was cleared by the next morning but was a scary drive up. 4 wheel drive would have been helpful if you are planning to come up during snowy weather.

Perfect Christmas
I can’t thank Helene and Mike enough! For the basics they get 5 out of 5! Easy to communicate with, exceptionally clean, amazing views, great clubhouse, as well as above and beyond well-appointed! There was nothing we thought of that Helene didn’t have in her kitchen. We were able to prepare an entire Christmas Eve dinner and all we had to do was provide the groceries! As for the extras: 11 out of 10! The decorations were so wonderful that it made our stay feel truly special. From board games to a play area, they thought of everything. We can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you again!

Very nice condo - well equiped too!
Very nice, beautiful property, neighborhood and area. Owners were very good about responding and communicating, and the coffee pods provided and creamers were a very nice touch! We replaced the pods used with the ones we bought. The only caveats are we could not get the gas fireplace lit (no biggie), and if any chance of ice or snow occurring, I could be wrong, but it seems you may not be able to get to the neighborhood without 4x4 (not AWD) as the access road is/roads are steep in some places. But very easy access to Boone in 5-10 minutes.

Wonderful as always!
This was our 3rd stay in this condo. We love everything about it. It is clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. There are so many nice touches, I can’t list them all.. .flavored coffee, games, kids toys, magazines etc etc. We were able to see a little snow this time which made our mountain stay even better. Breathtaking long range mountain views!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain home with my daughter and I. The condo is absolutely perfect, not a single detail has been overlooked. This host has thought of everything from the beautiful decor that looks like it came right out of a Southern Living magazine, coffee bar, homemade tea and lemonade jars and fully stocked bathrooms!! The beds and linens were very extremely comfortable which is important to me. This place has a million dollar view that can be seen from the kitchen, living room, picture windows in the bedroom and of course the deck. Even the deck was perfect with the outdoor couch which was perfect for stunning sunrises and coffee!! I love staying at Echota, this place has by far been my favorite! I have already booked another trip!

The view from this condo are AMAZING! Beautiful sunrises over the mountains. It is so cozy with all the comforts of home. I loved all the fall decor and the coffee station.
