Nuthouse Cabin was exactly as advertised: clean, compact but efficient layout, and property was super-quiet. Communication with the property owner was outstanding throughout the rental process. Great experience!

Was a hike to get to nut house from where you parked.
Needed a peeler from potatoes otherwise everything good

Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in.

My husband and I stayed at the farm for our wedding anniversary. It was such an enjoyable experience. We stayed at the NutHouse up on the hill. It was a bit of a walk but worth it for a scenic view and a quiet getaway. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. 10/10 recommend.

I had The Nut Cabin all to myself-very comfortable with all the needed essentials.
The hike up to the cabin from the parking lot was a challenge but the owners have a well maintained and fully lite gravel pathway that gave my legs a workout every day💗
I highly recommend this fabulous cabin -it was a wonderful weekend! I look forward to staying there again!

Very quaint and quiet. Close to Boone and lots of great hiking. Just there for a one night getaway and a beautiful Sunday hike! We would happily return.

Not as advertised
Posted Jan. 3, 2024 on HotelsThe property was not as advertised. It was a lot smaller than described. No separate bedroom with door. Ran out of toilet paper and hot water. Could not get in touch with the owner after multiple calls. The shower was almost impossible to shower in because it was so small. The walk from the parking lot to the unit was 75 yards up a very steep rocky incline. Not fun carrying all our luggage and ski equipment back and forth. You also needed an SUV to get up the very steep driveway. None of this was mentioned in the description.
