From the moment you park, you are only 15 strides away from entering this level entry (no steps) luxury condo at the top of the world. Wake up to SERENITY and enjoy your favorite drink or snack while sitting back relaxing and taking in the breathtaking 100+ mile views from your private back deck. This lovely two bedroom plus loft room, 3 bathroom condominium at the top of Sugar Mountain offers all the comforts of home away from home. Cool fresh air at 5000' in elevation and only a short walk to the best skiing, mountain biking and hiking NC has to offer.

This property comfortably sleeps 6 with a king in the master bedroom, a Queen bed in the guest room and 2 twin beds in the loft. Each room has their own private bath and flat screen TV. The master includes double vanity sinks, a soaking tub and a nice stand up tile shower for those longs days on the slopes. The second bedroom bath includes a shower/tub combo. The loft features a third bathroom with a standup shower. Those traveling with a little one? We have a fold out pack n' play in the second bedroom closet.

**For Winter stays, NC Mountains are prone to winter weather and you are required to have a four wheel drive/AWD vehicle or snow chains to safely drive nearby roads in winter weather.**

Special features include the stone gas log fireplace - perfect for chilly nights- and an outstanding long range mountain view - which is perfect all year round! Master bedroom with a King Bed, Master Bath is very spacious with dual vanities, a soaking tub and a great tiled shower for those long days on the slopes! It is also stocked with central heat & air conditioning (a rare amenity in the mountains)

Cooks will love the open, gourmet kitchen and everyone will love the little personal touches throughout. Arriving late and can't make it to the grocery store until the next day? That is okay, we include some K-cups for your first mornings coffee if needed (Kcup and regular coffee maker included)

Walk to slope convenience (about 250-300 yards to the top of Sugar Slalom trail) is perfect for busy weekends and life at the top of the mountain can't be beaten during the summer! For experienced skiers (in the winter) and bikers/hiking (in the summer) it is a 250-300 yard walk just above the condo. Skiing, Snowboarding, Biking, Hiking and much more right out the front steps! If you have beginners in your sights group, it is a short drive down to the Sugar Mountain lodge in order to access the beginner slopes. Other close by amenities include tennis, golf, hiking, rafting, ATV tours, fly fishing, as well as the newest attraction at Sugar the Alpine Roller Coaster! **For Winter stays, it is required to have a four wheel drive vehicle or snow chains to safely drive nearby roads in winter weather.**

We take great pride in having a clean place for you, and we are very picky with who we choose to clean. They have implemented all important cleaning updates in order to comply with CDC recommendations including disinfecting door knobs, switches, etc after every rental. Take note, property has one security camera both at the front entrance and on the back deck.

Incredible views, beautiful unit, & fabulous host
Location is great for everything Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk have to offer. The unit is gorgeous and well appointed. Matched pictures and descriptions. Our teens loved the game room of course after a day out and about. I was very impressed with the amenities in the room. If we needed it, it was probably there. And finally, Brad was a conscientious and extremely hospitable host. Communication was clear. He checked in on us and offered assistance should we need any. Highly recommend this property and Brad as a host!!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. It was spacious with a gorgeous view of Grandfather Mountain and gas logs to keep us warm. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever found in a rental unit! It was equipped with everything we could possibly need. EXCELLENT & BEAUTITUL
We stayed at this condo for 30 days. Each day was a pleasure. Some of the things we found so special about this place were 1)The view and the location (I could walk walk down a hill and then up to the top of the mountain with a spectacular view all the way up, 2)The exquisite flowers (we have never seen so many hydrangeras. black eyed susans, etc in one place), 3)the bedding (who expects beautiful high end white bedding in a rental), 4) the kitchen collection (everything you would want from a SHARP knife to clean usable pans, new dishes and table ware, 5)the flooring (all hardwood, laminate and tile throughout. Perfect Winter Getaway
My family and I have been visiting Sugar Mountain annually for two decades. We have now stayed at nearly every location on the mountain. This cozy home is located at the very top with amazing views and access to the slopes. Every comfort and need was provided. The owner graciously checked in on us. We will definitely keep this property in our back pocket to visit again.

We went to Sugar Mountain to celebrate our son’s 17th Birthday. He wanted to enjoy skiing with friends. I am always skeptical about staying in someone’s house versus a hotel. I’m glad I did- the condo is cozy with everything you need away from home. Great views and location! Brad was great to work with and checked to make sure everything was to our expectations! Would highly recommend staying here!

Family headed to Sugar MTN for a ski weekend. Condo was exactly as described (even better) with top of the line furnishing from towels, bedding and kitchen utensils. Incredible view of the mountains and direct access to walk to slopes (3 or 4-minute walk down path). Host communication was fantastic. WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN.

The condo was nice and very clean. However, it was very hard to sleep because the heater made a god awful noise all night long. One of the returns in the primary bedroom made such a loud noise it kept my husband and I awake all night long.

The condo is well appointed and well maintained. The property manager was accessible and responsive. Lots of fun for young kids! It is difficult to get a family with kids to the ski slopes from this location. It’s not really a ski in/ski out. Like most condos, it is not terribly private. You can hear your neighbor’s entertainment system from below and their voices when they have company. Not a huge deal, but a bit tough for getting young kids to sleep.

We chose this VRBO to be close to skiing, it's beautiful views and it's high ratings and when we got there we were not let down. From the second we walked in we were sobpkeased to see such a beautifully decorated condo and once we walked on the porch knew why everyone gave this place 5 stars. The views were absolutely breath taking! We were lucky enough to catch a recent snow fall that had tuned this place into a winter wonderland. We had the most amazing stay. The owner was very responsive, the unit was impeccably clean, the kitchen was fully stocked, the beds and sofas were cozy and comfortable and the fireplace set the perfect ambiance. I would definitely recommend this VRBO and visit again!
