I have really loved my stay in this hostal, I stayed for a total of seven nights spread across leaving town for the Amazon. The communal area is really nice and it creates a good atmosphere. It’s a little expensive as far as food and drink goes, but this is understandable for the reasonable room rate. You get free breakfast which is crossants, bananas or oatmeal, free tea and coffee. Extras such as eggs, bacon etc is extra $2 each. So if you get sick of crossants like I did, expect those costs. The hostal provides services for experiences like zip lining bungee jumping raftinf etc etc which they can call from the hostal to arrange your pick up. My only down point is that it’s difficult to get help from staff in regards to the town, or things to do, or in some cases even trying to order food as they mostly don’t speak English. I only met one lady that I could ask for advice from regarding renting bikes, Amazon safety etc and I only saw her once. This made things a little difficult sometimes and I know that travellers mostly rely on hotel/hostal staff to help with recommendations and advice. My other quarrel is that the hostal states you get wifi however this is mostly not the case. The wifi does mot reach into any of the dorms or rooms as it’a located in the communal lounge. So you must go there to use It and even then if there are more than four people in the room you will struggle with it. Makes planning difficult. Also sometimes you just wanna lay in bed and speak to family
