L'hôtel est vieux mais très bien entretenu. Il est vraiment bien situé.

Indeed a grand hotel. The personnel beyond friendly and very helpful. Cudos.
Only criticism is the side lounging chair in our room, which has to be one of the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in.
But besides that, I wholly recommend this place as a great spot to stay. We would come back.

The hotel is well located in Bar Harbor with lots of restaurants and shops around. It is easy to explore Acadia National Park from there. The hotel looks old but well maintained and comfortable. There was an odd small in the room but other than that, everything was fine.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The Bar Harbor Grand has that "old" look due to it being modeled after the old Rodick House that used to be one of the largest hotels in Maine in its' time. The original structure was located where the Village Green is and was lost completely in the Fire of '47. People are amazed when we tell them The Bar Harbor Grand is only 20 years old! We are glad to know that you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope we get the chance to welcome you back in the future!

Bel endroit pour séjourner à Bar Harbour
Publié le 24 avr. 2018 sur ExpediaL'hôtel est joli et bien entretenu, et il y a un grand stationnement à l'arrière. Il est bien situé, un peu à l'écart de la zone plus touristique Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le personnel est avenant et serviable.

Loved the convenient location of this property in Bar Harbor - we were able to walk easily to restaurants and the waterfront. Staff were super friendly and our room was spotless, and very quiet. My son enjoyed a dip in the pool at the end of each day after exploring Acadia. The hotel had umbrellas for use, which came in handy one rainy morning. They also set up a make your own trail mix station one morning which my son loved. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of options which rotated and staff kept it well stocked and clean throughout the morning. Highly recommend!
