We loved our stay here, highly recommend for anyone’s visit to Bar Harbor. Check in was easy and we were greeted with fresh coffee, cookies and baked goods in the lobby - a really nice, homey touch. Room was big and felt like we had more room than four people needed in one room, which is rare to find in a hotel room.

Clean and friendly staff. Excellent location and delicious food. Restaurant staff worked at a slower pace (very friendly) and there was no place to relax, work lounge except for the hotel room or the dining room tables.

We recently stayed at The Pathmaker and cannot say enough about how amazing it was! From the cleanliness of the rooms, the fantastic complimentary breakfast, and the staff, this hotel is definitely worth checking out! It is within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor and a quick drive to Acadia National Park. Mackenzie was super helpful and a pleasure to chat with as was the rest of the staff! We will be highly recommending The Pathmaker to everyone we know!

I’ve stayed in every hotel in bar harbor. Also have stayed in many hotels in my life.. this hotel has it all! Rooms are huge the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! The staff is amazing and the food by chef Jayson is out of this world! Mackenzie the manager is an absolute gem !! I would suggest you stay here!!

Location was great for walking around town. Covered parking was great when it rained. Very quiet. Room furniture could be better. It was not that comfortable for sitting.

Beautiful new hotel, spacious and clean room at off season rate, free parking, able to walk into Bar Harbor. Breakfast was good, a little on the small side but delicious and included in room rate.
