Just the right amount of NOLA
Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great place for a family who doesn't LOVE being in the center of big cities but still wants to experience the culture. We were able to drive in on a couple days, experience New Orleans and enjoy the rest of our time without all the Hustle and Bustle. It was great waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the water and watching the sunset on the other side of the house over the bayou. We really enjoyed the fishing charter that we booked at the last minute with Big Dog Charters just a few docks down. Thank you Morgan for connecting use! Although we discovered that we are not fans of New Orleans, we loved our stay here and the memories we made.

Publié le 12 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great weekend at Bayou Life. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Had multiple choices for views, fishing/crabbing and hanging out. Everything we could want for a fun, relaxing weekend.

The property and its location was perfect for our interest

We also wanted to stay at a location outside of New Orleans and experience bayou living and viewing the activity on the waterway. This property served all our interest. Well satisfied!

Thank you for being such nice guests. I am very glad the home was perfect for you. You set the record for the longest stay of any guest so far in the past 7 years...14 days plus the 1 extra day I threw in...so 15 days! I am happy that after such a long stay of 15 days in which you certainly got to know the home inside and out...and you found the home perfect. Again, thank you for coming down to the Bayou and being such nice guests.

Publié le 7 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayFrom the initial contact throughout our stay, the trip was flawless.. owner communicates at a high level and no grey areas for question. Property was Clean as a pin, kitchen was super well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, blenders, choppers, cutting boards, coffee maker, etc. hospitality is often times a lost art, and is such an important part of the overall travel experience. On arrival we were super impressed with the layout of bedrooms, bathrooms, multiple smart TV’s with full cable packages, Wet Bar with appropriate glass wear etc…. property is located right on the canal with a beautiful balcony just off the kitchen, and access to a private dock with accessible fishing and boat access! I could go on and on, just know, this is a true five star property and we WILL BE BACK!!!

New Orleans fishing trip
Publié le 2 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was a great place to stay! Beautiful home with all you could need to enjoy catching and eating your own fish and crabs. Our fishing guide picked us up right from our dock. Wish we would have stayed a couple more days so we could have enjoyed all of the things to do.
