Beautiful cottage on a very beautiful property
Posted May 17, 2024 on HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable cottage in an amazingly beautiful location. Conveniently located near Pisa and Sienna. Our hosts were very helpful and gracious.

You need a car to stay here
Posted Sep. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayI've stayed at almost a dozen different places over the past couple of months. This was the most difficult to navigate. To be fair, the property is beautiful. It is just like the pictures. It is spacious and lovely.
But communication with the host/owner was close to impossible. The VRBO site says she speaks English and Italian. But really she doesn't speak English. When I was able to get her in person, which was only twice, she used Google translate, but it was such a mess. I was supposed to stay there for five days, but quickly on the first day I realized I was not gonna be able to stay there because I did not have a car.
I had told her in advance that I would arrive at the train station and take a taxi to the property and meet her there. She did not tell me there are no taxis in that area. I had to walk to find a bar, and thank God the bar/restaurant owner offered to drive me to the property after he closed for the day.
So this is really a complicated review. If you have a car, you will most likely love this place. But if you don't, it's impossible to get around.

Dear Roslyn, I apologize if I don't speak English but I think the problem is not related to this, but rather to the problems of the Taxi. I would like to point out that inside each apartment there are BOOKS with all the essential information on the services, including the Taxi service. I have always made myself available to guests, making them feel at home and even if my English leaves something to be desired, I believe that the welcome and kindness that has always distinguished this structure can also look beyond . Gentile Roslyn, Mi scuso se non parlo inglese ma credo che il problema non sia legato a questo, ben si ai problemi del Taxi. Preciso che dentro a ciascun appartamento ci sono dei BOOKS con tutte le info essenziali ai servizi, compreso il servizio Taxi. Mi sono resa sempre disponibile con gli ospiti facendoli sentire come a casa propria e anche se il mio inglese lascia un p ò, a desiderare, credo che l'accoglienza e la gentilezza che da sempre contra distinguere questa struttura, possa volgere anche lo sguardo oltre . Wonderful base to explore Tuscany

A slightly better equipped kitchen would have made property perfect, especially as we stayed in August and were not allowed to have a bbq due to fire risk. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would recommend the villa to others.

Center of it all
Posted Oct. 4, 2022 on HomeAwayWonderful guesthouse on a beautiful property with vineyard and olive tree views complete with a ringing clock tower in the distance. Hospitable hosts - wonderful, lovely, helpful. Good wifi and a nice pool. Quiet property comfortably situated in the middle of wine country, close to two grocery stores. Recommend!

Relaxing Paradise

Gabriella was a join to deal with. The cottage is within easy commute to Sienna and Florence but with no crowds. We enjoyed exploring beautiful countryside. The rental was easy and as advertized so clean

Picturesque vistas of Chianti area
Posted Oct. 11, 2019 on HomeAwayWhat a lovely host and excellent location at Villa il Borraccio! Wish we could stay longer than our three days. There was a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at the Villa. Well equipped! Remember to ask about turning on hot water because we had cold showers. Will recommend to others to stay here!

Before their arrival, we called the technician to repair the water heater, Therefore, after having forgotten to reactivate the water heater switch which is located in the electrical panel in the kitchen . Prima del loro arrivo , abbiamo chiamato il Tecnico per riparare lo scaldabagno ,. Per tanto , dopo aver dimenticato di riattivare l’interruttore dello Scaldabagno che è collocato nel quadro elettrico in Cucina . Quando , lei ci ha presentato il suo disagio . immediatamente o riattivato l’interruttore e tutto è ritornato funzionante . Saremo molto felici di potervi vedere ancora di nuovo e quanto prima . Geweldige ervaring
Posted Jul. 16, 2024 on HomeAway2 weken verbleven in appartement. Zeer lieve mensen die alleen Italiaans spreken, maar dit ging perfect met google translate. Erg mooie locatie. De weg is wel druk maar we konden achter het huisje zitten waardoor dit geen probleem was. Op loopafstand van Tavarnelle en Barberino. De laatste heeft een leuk historisch dorpje met leuke restaurants. Ook is er een mooi zwembad aanwezig wat goed schoongehouden wordt. We hebben een bijzonder leuke vakantie gehad bij leuke mensen.

Toskana vom Feinsten
Posted Jun. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayWir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastleute sind außerordentlich freundlich. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhäuschens ist zweckmäßig. Großes Plus: Das Grundstück liegt traumhaft schön, mir wunderbarem Pool und wirklich spektakulärem Blick auf die typische toskanische Landschaft. Einzig kleiner Wermutstropfen: Unser Häuschen lag direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Strasse und es war recht laut.
