Magnifique séjour dans un petit village qui nous permet de visiter la toscane.

LES ASSIETTES ET COUVERTS SONT RANGES NON LAVES. DES TRACES DE GRAISSE OU D'HUILE SUR TOUTES LES SURFACES BOIS. NOUS AVONS DU NETTOYER LES MIROIRS AFIN DE POUVOIR SE REGARDER DEDANS.......
ENFIN, L'ACCES EST TRES DIFFICILE COMPTE TENU DE LA DANGEROSITE DE L'ESCALIER, PUISQUE L'APPARTEMENT EST SITUE AU DEUXIEME ETAGE, ET NON MENTIONNE DANS L'ANNONCE. LE PRIX EST LARGEMENT SURFAIT COMPTE TENU DE LA QUALITE... DE L'APPARTEMENT.

Firstly, as far as cleaning, the apartment was absolutely not dirty! I have been renting for many years with 5 star ratings. I, personally went to oversee the cleaning 2 days prior to your arrival. The dishwasher does work ( I ran it the day after you left to make sure). It is not a complicated machine to work. The oven is an oven that has its years but it was absolutely clean. The dishes are derura ceramics with possibly a nick here and there.. most guests compliment me on the characteristic ceramic dishes. They were certainly not dirty! The mirrors have antique glass with some old age spots but were all cleaned perfectly before your arrival, as was the entire apt. In fact, you were the first guests to use the newly built ensuite bath. I am not sure what you feel you might obtain by this review. Especially since you told my husband how lovely the apt was when you entered and did not call him once with any complaints. And, by the way.. it is stated that the apt is on the 2nd floor. I have worked with vrbo for 18 years and am very conscientious about transparency . Having said this, I would have appreciated transparency from you at the onset and not after staying in our apartment for 6 nights and leaving without a word!

Excellent accommodations in a lovely town!

First, our accommodations were just as described and our host was helpful and accommodating to our needs and interests. Second, the quaint village appears just as one might imagine an 800 year old stone village would, with narrow streets and walkways. Barberino was a great choice for home base to explore Tuscany. Third, the restaurants all were wonderful — we sampled them all, including some in the countryside and we enjoyed each one. To top it off, there are local wines available for tasting and purchase. If/when we return to Tuscany, we know where we will stay.

Can't say enough about the location and the flat
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis might be the perfect flat and location in central Tuscany. The medieval village is so charming, and the locals are very friendly. Food and drink are within easy walking distance and its central location makes a short trip to everywhere you could want to go in Tuscany and surrounding areas. The flat is located on the top floor and the views from the bedrooms are spectacular. We have never been disappointed staying here and the host is always available to help if needed.
