Rats in the hotel!!!!

Absolutely shocked! Went on a birthday weekend and was faced with rats running on the balcony, then wedding happening in the hotel and music blasting till 4am, rooms are dirty, mirrors broken, curtains torn. When complained to the hotel, was told that nothing can be done (that for the time being we have to stay in the room where there are rats on the balcony and that we just have to stay there and not sleep because of the wedding as there are no rooms). For the last night they moved us to the suite (a room 150 euros more expensive than our and gave us a bottle of cheap cava). So one completely ruined night and ther fore day as we couldn’t sleep at all. Couldn’t get breakfast that we paid for (as we were trying to get at least a few hours of sleep). (But to be honest the breakfast was as poor as it gets… no vegetables, 2 types of fruits and rubbery scrambled eggs). And the hotel didn’t bother to inform its guests that there will be a wedding, so we could decide whether we want to stay there at all. And of course the cherry on top of the cake is a rat, that according to hotel « was passing by ». This hotel is not worth even 3 stars. How it can have 5 is beyond me. And a room upgrade for one night is aparently supposed to be more than enough to cover all the « inconveniences »…. That’s what we were told by the staff! AVOID AT ALL COST!
