It was clean and everyone was so polite and friendly. The only negative was that there was a definite odor from cigarettes permeating into the room. Both my wife and I are allergic to tobacco smoke and there was no mistaking it. The lady at the desk gave us a bottle of room spray which helped a little but we both had stuffed sinuses each morning.

Thanks for pointing that out. We are a non-smoking facility, but we will continue to make every effort to have a clean and smoke free B&B.

Weekend getaway
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HotelsWhat an awesome B & B!! We had the garden suite and it was adorable. The history of the jail was very interesting and we loved the garden in the back. Breakfast in the garden was so enjoyable. The owner and family were simply so kind and helpful. I would recommend for a stay here!!

If you’re ever in the area, you should definitely stay here. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Rooms are a good size. Pete is nice and funny.

bad choice
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HotelsApparently I must have requested to stay in a "cell" At first it seemed like a lark,but it was like being in a basement and very crude. I could put up with that, but because it was an old cell, it had been retrofitted as a room, but I was leary of the shower stall floor opting not to use it as it seemed rough and didn't seem clean. As the night progressed, I became a bit claustrophobic and began worrying about fire hazard. There was no one around and I felt like I was very much alone,

The "Jail Cell" room is appropriately named, due to it was an actual cell. It is not for some people. We originally thought it would be a fun room for kids to stay in. But some adults have fun time with it. Disappointed you were unhappy with your cell. If you would had let us known, we would have gladly put you in a different nicer room.
