Stayed here in room 2 for 2 nights.
I arrived about 4pm and was checked in. The guest house offers breakfast for an extra charge and I asked for the vegetarian option.
The room was located on the first floor via stairs. Not really accessible for those with mobility problems, although there were definitely rooms on the ground floor too. The room was good sized with a single bed, wardrobe, a cabinet, a hairdryer, a washing sink and an armchair. Bath and hand towels were also provided. I had stayed the previous summer in another room and a small fan was provided. This room didn’t have that. One of the nights was hot enough that I slept without covers, so a fan would definitely have been welcome, but not a showstopper. There was no desk to work on, which made working on my laptop a bit difficult.
Location-wise, the hotel is close to the Lincolnshire Wolds and about 30 minutes to the Humberside, by car. There’s not much in Barnetby-le-Wold, although there is a small supermarket nearby and a Co-op about 15 minutes walk.
Overall, I had an excellent stay.
