I use this property every time I’m in the area for work as I like my own space. It looks a little rough and ready from the outside but does me the self contained flat is clean and well equipped.

Intermittent unreliable internet available. Convenient property for BAE. Area felt rough. Accommodation ok. Bedroom good. Lounge good. Bathroom shower ran hot and cold.

A Rose amongst the thorns

A comfortable and well equipped flat in a massive residential complex. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic and capable. Free parking was available in the centre of the surrounding roads, sufficiently close that the car was visible from the flat. The surroundings were not the best but we spent seven nights with no issues at all and regard the property as offering great value for money.

Very helpful staff. Shame about the property slugs on the bathroom floor and very dirty around the toilet and shower. The bed was so hard I give up trying to get any sleep. I was in lots of back pain.i only stayed the one night out of 3 and couldn't go to the event that I had booked the parking was a nightmare I was told to park on the roundabout about minutes away but I was then told that I could of parked nearer to the apartment after 6 pm. But there was no signage to explane the parking the I think its because they was looking after the people that live there and lots of them. This is one of the biggest complexes I have ever seen very old and dated. I was going to go for a night out and apart from my back being very sore I didn't fancy walking back through there in the dark.The positive was clean bedding good towels.

Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area.

Usless service but reasonable appartment

The heating was broken - either swealtering, even with all the windows open, or off. We were told maintainance would be around next morning at 8.00. just before 10 we complained they had not come and we were told they would sort it. Maintenance eventually called my mobile mid afternoon and said " It is like a furnace in here" and said turn it off and we will try to contact you tomorrow....! That was the las we heard of it. We complained as we left some days later. People were always nice and said they would help - but nothing happened. The apartment was small but reasonably smart. Crockery was minimal but (just) sufficient.

Holiday stop-over

Not an ideal place for a holiday as the surrounding properties looked rundown, with old furniture etc outside doors. There were blood stains on one of the towels and stains on a pillowcase. Parking was a problem as the free parking was streets away, the close parking was for 2hrs with the threat of a Council Parking Attendant checking during working hours

We are primarily a provider of accommodation to contractors working in Barrow-in-Furness and not a convenient place for exploring the Lake District and Cumbria.
