Perfect short stay
Publié le 16 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was as described and depicted in photos. It was the perfect short stay for my husband and I and our elderly dog. We appreciated the open plan kitchen and lounge, quality appliances, ammenities and decor. Our dog enjoyed wandering safely around outside in the pleasant and secure front and back yard and snoozing under the big shade tree adjacent to a very comfortable deck and barbecue area.

Good property but needs maintenance

bathroom taps need new washers as ensuite taps are very difficult to turn on or off.
No doors on the ensuites, not really acceptable.
BBQ not used.... needs tuff clean!
Air con in living room very noisy and needs maintenance.

The open-plan design of the ensuites is an intentional feature, chosen to complement the home’s modern and spacious living style. While we understand it may not suit everyone, it’s an aspect of the property’s character that many guests enjoy and most of all suits our family for our holidays with our young children.
Regarding the split system air conditioner, while it may not operate as smoothly as a brand-new unit, it is regularly serviced and still performs its function effectively, providing the cooling you need. We believe in maintaining appliances as long as they are still doing the job, rather than replacing them unnecessarily.
We also appreciate your comments about the taps and BBQ. These are minor maintenance items we’ll address promptly, and we’re glad that such details were among your main concerns, as it suggests there are no larger issues with the property.

Family get away
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a Perfect location for a family with young children and dogs. Very private, picturesque road. Property felt safe with the electric gate and fencing. Kitchen was well equipped. Would highly recommend.

High expectations were met

Slight hiccup getting the entrance details but that was sorted just before we pulled up at the front gate so no drama there. Tim was quick to respond both times we reached out via the app. Hydronic heating was sensational. Only negative was the rear bedroom next to the living room has no heating at all. Being Sept it was just ok.

Golfing Getaway

Property Manager was always quick to reply to any of our queries & would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area & we would certainly return again next year

Weekend stay

Awesome home but near nothing.

There is spare kindling left in the firebox inside(it’s a little hard to find). But I keep it there as back up. I always encourage guests to let me know if they need or can’t find something as I’m always available to help! Thanks, Tim

Barwon Heads Riverside Retreat

It has a very private backyard and fully fenced for your dog. My family and I has a lovely 2 night stay. We loved the house and the location.
