Great Bass lake rental
Posted Aug. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a great time visiting.The house was exactly as described, very clean and well appointed. I travel extensively for work and felt like I was staying at a hotel but with the comforts of home. Highly recommend.

Clean house with nice deck but bathrooms were falsely advertised.
Posted Aug. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayOverall, the stay was good. House was clean, deck was nice. The living space and dining table were a great size. The biggest issue was the home was advertised to have 4.5 bathrooms, when in reality there were only 2.5 bathrooms. The 4.5 bathrooms was one of the primary reasons we booked this home, so it was disappointing to find out that the advertisement was false. House was definitely clean but garbage cans in the garage were pretty much already full when we arrived.
Also note that the hang out area by the private dock is not along the water and thus not a practical space for kids to enjoy the lake. That said, you can make the 20min drive to Miller’s Landing where you can get rentals and find a spot at a sandy area. We had a great time at Rocky Point.

Thank you for your review I’m not sure how this was listed as 4.5 baths as we know it is not and apologize for the miscommunication. We will correct this immediately. Boat docks are definitely on the lake and has a small beach area but at Bass Lake most of the beach areas are located on the south side of the lake where the campgrounds are. Hope you enjoyed your time!

Family getaway
Posted Aug. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed our time at this house and it fit our needs. It was updated and clean and comfortable. Finding a rental house that welcomes dogs is always a challenge but this house was great and had a wonderful area for them to go potty and could be locked up safely. The stairs leading up to the house and the walk to the dock posed a little challenge for Granada and her bum hip. We do wish the dock was closer, but we kept our toys down at the dock so it made the walk easier for The future walks down. Overall we were happy, but due to our elderly travelers we probably won’t rent this exact house again. The host was lovely to work with and had great communication through the booking process and while there

Bass Lake Home

A few issues:
1.) Listing showed 4 baths. We counted 2.5.
2.) Trash cans were all full upon our arrival. When trying to access garage the main garage door was disconnected from garage door opener. We had to open manually.
3.) The kitchen light fell down one morning and would have hit us while cooking if it wasn't for the safety chains!
Other than that the house was great and the hosts were very quick to communicate back.

Perfect Place!
Posted Jul. 10, 2023 on HomeAwayOur extended family had an amazing time on our stay. The house was clean and it had everything we needed. The private boat slip was so convenient. Several of us also walked down to the private dock and took the kayaks out. We liked having the pack n play, high chair and toys for the kids. Even the adults had a great time playing the Pac-Man. We will be back!

Okay stay

Some issues around the house :
1 . The heaters were inconvenient . For it being so cold and the breakers turning off we had to rotate the space heaters around the house .
2. No hot water in the bathroom showers . Not at all. So had to shower with cold water .
3. All bathroom and bedroom doors upstairs were squeaky, so when someone got up at night : everyone was awake .
House is nicely maintained, but these are some essential things that one needs while paying so much for the weekend .

Yatee, I’m sorry to here you felt your stay was less then 5 stars we strive to provide a 5 star experience for every guest. We would have sent our maintenance out if you had let us know prior to your review that you were experiencing issues. As with any home things can go wrong. I sent maintenance up to address you concerns after I received your review and refund request. We found all heaters and hot water functionally fully. I hope you had an enjoyable weekend despite your issues.

Good house
