Lovely hotel. Booked 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by an extra night. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Superb buffet breakfast with some a la carte choices. Located about 2 miles out of Bath city centre so you will need a taxi or catch a bus from the nearby bus stop if you don't drive.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful building and grounds Large room with very comfortable bed Room rather cold Excellent breakfast and service Ate in during the evening. Food good but prices exclude VAT. With service charge addd expect to pay 30% more than what is shown. Lovely hour long walk along canal into Bath.

We stayed for 1 night, really wished it was longer. Hotel is located a short taxi ride away from the centre of bath, which is more convenient than driving and trying to find somewhere to park. The hotel and grounds are very attractive. Our room was in the new building which is very very close to the main house. It was extremely comfortable and we even had a small bottle of milk for coffee in the fridge. There was a lot of attention to detail which i was very happy about. The staff were all fantastic receptionists, waiters and bar staff. I'm sure the maids were too but we didnt meet them. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The room itself was good roomy n clean , robes n slippers , breakfast fabulous , I just get fed up of being put in hotel rooms at the back of the building or in an annexe with rubbish views of kitchens or bushes or wasteland all hotels do it

Perfect pre christmas break

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff,everyone was very friendly, warm & welcoming. They gave clear advice about the best route into Bath on a very busy weekend & it made our trip run smoothly. We had a small dog with us ,who was greeted by all staff in a wonderful dog friendly manner, our dog was so happy & relaxed in the room, which had bowls, dog mat, poobags & treats ,& in the hotel lounges , bars & restaurant where she made friends with lots of the staff.

Birthday celebration ♥️

We booked a 2 night stay to incorporate a birthday celebration and to see the Christmas Market. Staff were informative and friendly. The room was spacious, well equipped and an extremely comfortable bed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my wife was grateful for the gift they left. Would definitely recommend, beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Great location just a couple of miles out of town, bus stop at bottom of the drive or a short taxi ride.

Wedding Anniversary

This was our first time at Bailbrook and it did not disappointment the whole place was spotless and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We went for our 30th wedding anniversary and the reception brought prosecco to our room for us. Breakfast had a great choice and the staff in the restaurant were very attentive. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bath,

Excellent property and a lovely breakfast. We were in main building and bedroom was lovely unfortunately it was over a company off site so very noisy until late. Overhead Shower would only give Luke warm water despite plenty of hot water in taps and hand held shower. Room was beautiful and staff so helpful and nice

The Bailbrook is a stunning property, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are excellent, very professional and helpful. Breakfast was probably one of the best i have had in a hotel. And parking was safe, convenient and free. The hotel is about a 30minute brisk walk to the north edge of Bath, near the Royal Crescent. Or, a short drive. But traffic in to Bath is busy on this road. Walk or take the bus. Thank you Bailbrook team for a great stay. We will be back.

Liked: very helpful receptionist. Dinner in Cloisters. Lots of parking, quiet, good location Didn’t like: room. Small, not in main house, but in a large ugly annexe with approx 75 others. So not ‘charming Georgian’ but ‘bog standard’ corporate.
