Publié le 3 sept. 2019 sur HotelsParking public à côté. Enveloppe avec clef préparée pour l'arrivée : attention, il n'y a personne sur place, les services sont limités. Très jolie chambre, un peu petite pour une famille, avec tout ce qu'il faut y compris thé et petits gâteaux. Bien situé juste à la périphérie du circuit touristique.

Très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner à l'anglaise très varié et copieux . Petit bémol ce jour là , pas d"eau chaude pour la douche dû à un problème de chaudière.

Excellent séjour
Publié le 2 mars 2018 sur HotelsTrès bien situé. Guest house très agréable, bien décorée, literie très confortable dans chambre douillette. Excellent petit déjeuner. Parking public à 100m. Très bon accueil. A recommander.

The best part was the very friendly owner/manager who made it a comfortable stay. A lot of stairs so people with mobility issues should be aware.

Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good.

The hostess, Christina, was very accommodating, allowing me to drop off my bag early in the day. Her breakfast was fabulous - delicious and plentiful. I noticed that when a new guest arrived during the breakfast hour, she invited him to enjoy coffee/tea or eat something, as if he had already stayed the night.
The stairs to the 3rd floor are narrow and turning, so they are not for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. My small room did not have an ensuite bath; I had to leave my room, walk a short distance down the hall to the bath, unlock the door and relock it after use. That can be an issue for someone who needs to frequent the toilet several times during the night. The hallways are well lighted, and an electric heater is provided in the room's closet in case the room is cold or the house's central heating has not yet been turned on.

We stayed at this property due to its proximity to the train station and local attractions. We did not meet any staff until the morning of our departure. The WiFi signal in the room was very weak; our phones frequently disconnected and had to be manually reconnected. The room was on a busy street and we heard loud noises and people on the street talking and occasionally yelling until 2-3 AM. We stayed in Room 4, which is accessed by a narrow staircase from the small entry foyer. This room had an uneven creaky floor in the bedroom and bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is very small, no light above the sink mirror, inadequate shelf space for personal items, and no Kleenex or shampoo. The included breakfast was available beginning at 8 AM, which seemed late to us and did not fit with our schedule. Unfortunately, we did not have a restful stay.
