Budget motel fine for the price, Room extremely cramped, but fine for one night. Easy walking distance to The Dudley pub, which served good food.

We’re not disappointed in our stay. We needed somewhere to sleep that was cheap. The Explorer fitted the bill as the bed was comfortable, it was cheap and it was quiet. What we were not pleased about was the pool of water that covered the floor of entire kitchenette area. The shower was good, nice and hot but getting in and out of the bathroom was a bit of a trick and attempting to use the toilet took a bit of planning … super squeezy. We gave 3 stars as the room gave us what we required and aren’t very picky but most people would have given a lot less. I don’t think we’ll be back though.

Very small room. Quite expensive for what it offered, and the experience was soured by the lack of service.
