This hotel is attractive and clean. The surroundings are very welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would encourage anyone who enjoys being near a college campus to include the Cook Hotel for a stay in Baton Rouge.

Always love staying at the Cooke Hotel and Conference Center when we visit our daughter at LSU. Love shopping in the hotel store as well. Breakfast was good but the tables and floor area in the dining area were sticky. Also wish the hotel served coffee throughout the day. We arrived in the late afternoon (so tired), and wished some coffee was available.

No dining options near by unless if you have a car. Property is very pretty and safe. Breakfast could be improved. Had to change rooms at night because of running water was extremely hot. Staff was polite but not very accommodating and told me I had booked through Expedia so they couldn’t give me a better room but after my complains they gave me a similar room.
