Saving Grace!

We ended up staying here out of desperation - our first hotel booked ended up being beyond anything we've ever seen in our worst nightmares. We booked this place at 2:30 or so the day we checked in and we headed there immediately. The lady at the front desk was super nice - she went ahead and prechecked us in and told me she would let me know as soon as our room was ready. She ended up calling us about 15 minutes later, which was amazing! Room was gorgeous, shower was plenty hot, lobby was very nice. Every employee we encountered was friendly. Would love to stay here again!

Be Careful of the " Uniquely Designed" Room.

We were given a "uniquely designed" room which meant that we had a room with no windows. So, it was a bit of a mess. We loved Baton Rouge and the hotel lobby. But, our room was very disappointing.

It was uneventful meaning no issues like noisy persons next door, construction, etc. Food was good, the people were exceptionally friendly at every turn. Trey, valet, was very helpful and willing to assist.

Baton Rouge hotel

The hotel was nice, the room we were given was very spacious with super high ceilings and very nice elegant decor. Super comfortable beddings. However, the room was also spooky in that it had No Windows! Only an huge, tall windowless wall! There was a skylight that you could open and close with a remote control mounted on the wall. I felt very enclosed and nervous without windows at all.
