Cet hotel est très bien placé, proche du centre ville de Batumi et du front de mer appelé Boulevard. Le personnel est très prévenant et serviable. Les chambres sont très confortables.
Le gros point noir pour quelqu'un qui ne fume pas comme moi, c'est l'odeur de cigarette qui vous saisit dès le hall d'entrée et qui vous accompagne jusque dans les ascenseurs. C'est atroce. La faute en revient au casino situé un étage plus bas où il est permis de fumer et qui communique directement avec le hall de l'hotel.
Non fumeurs = fuyez !

C'est bien, c'est pro, le personnel parle à peu près anglais (ce qui n'est pas le cas partout en Géorgie). Mais il n'y a pas de petite folie supplémentaire, juste... standard. Les rideaux dans la chambre deviennent bien déabrés, c'est embêtant au niveau de la lumière. Les environs de l'hôtel ne sont pas fabuleux non plus. Que ce soit au niveau climat ou restaurants, on aura préféré Tbilissi.

Major disappointment.

At check in they tried to switch the reserved room for a lower tier and offer me the reserved room for an additional cost.
The room itself was outdated, but if clean would have been fine. Unfortunately it was pretty dirty and clear that the staff did very little outside of making the bed. Our daily housekeeping did no more, we had to provide images of dirty used mugs to the front desk to prove this and then, they only addressed that one concern while the bathroom was still dirty.
The lobby is a cloud of cigarette smoke as you enter. The attached casino has no barrier and all the smoke just vents to the lobby and seeps into the rooms. Then there is the service. Most things we had to ask twice for and get an attitude whenever requesting something.
Having this list d as a ‘5 star’ hotel is a joke. I’m not sure what certification signs off on hotel star ratings, but clearly this was awarded due to some type of corruption.
At best, this could receive ‘3 star’ rating in USA, but perhaps the standards are much lower here?
I will add some images of the moldy ceilings that have been there for a while, which the smell is likely masked by the cigarette smoke, but the health impacts are certainly not.
For my sanity I did a walkthrough of the Meridien next door, and was floored by how much nicer, cleaner and better it was. Do yourself a favor and stay there or the Sheraton instead. No matter the price, I would not stay in this

For example :-Your Reservation was done to The Family Room but at the check-in you were upgraded to the Spa Suite room free of charge, Which is 2 category up, you can check any channel to make sure about it.-The Check-in itself was done at 10:30 AM. As you might know usually check-in starts after 3 PM.-The cleaning service as we checked was provided daily, regarding the mugs it's done by minibar team, probably there was time difference between providing the services.-Attached pictures are taken in the corridor, next to the elevator, stains that are on the celling is from A/C drainage system, which is maintained by our team regularly,Please know that we are always committed to improving our services, and your comments help us in that process.Let me wish you all the success and Thank you again for your feedback.Best Regards
