Outdated rooms and broken hot tub
The check in was not professional at all. The lobby area is really nice, the breakfast is good, the rooms are outdated and need repairs. The hot tub is why we chose this hotel and they didnt tell us it was out of order. We definately would have just stayed somewhere cheaper since nobody else has a hot tub. This is our 2nd poor experience at this hotel. We wont be back.

I liked that it was quiet, newly remodeled since I visited last. The beds were comfy. The pool and sauna were nice but bummed the whirlpool jets weren’t working. The breakfast was decent. Missed the omelette maker they used to have. Also wished there was gluten free bread or bagels.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved our experience. We will definitely be back! The hotel is bright and modern with lots of amenities, including gym, heated indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The free breakfast is fantastic. There is ice water, tea and delicious coffee available 24/7. There are even warm cookies made every evening for the guests which are delectable!! Mandy is super friendly and super cool! She helped us with a couple problems that arose with a smile! We had lots of great conversations with her while we were here. We feel we have a new friend in Baudette, Minnesota!

Beds were comfortable breakfast was great. The only thing that was annoying was the in room air conditioner was very loud. It woke me up every time it turned on so not a very restfull night.

Swampy Humid and Damp
Usually we have a decent stay here. This time our room was so swampy humid the carpet even felt damp. We had damp clothes that wouldn’t even start to dry with AC running all night. We were seriously disappointed with this stay. We will stay at the walleye inn just down the road for less $ next time. $218 for a swamp. Good times.
