The hotel does not deserve 4 stars . Breakfast is not good either

Belle Normandy - highly recommended!
Publié le 5 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe had a great stay at the Belle Normandy. It was everything we had hoped for. A spacious room, very clean and quiet and very secure. it is in a great location for walking around the town of Bayeux. You can find many restaurants and shoppes nearby from two to ten minutes walk. We had a rental car but did not need it to get around town - things were so close including a beautiful cathedral to tour and a WWII war museum. Plenty of parking was available in the courtyard and the gates are locked at 9pm. (The staff gave us a gate code to punch in to open the electric fence for late evening returns.) The hotel staff was also very helpful recommending restaurants and arranging dinner reservations. We relaxed in the reception area and enjoyed cocktails and wine. We had breakfast at the hotel our first morning which was delicious! It was a buffet with all kinds of options. Dinner in town typically starts at 6pm. There are many restaurants and cafes from which to choose in Bayeux!

Belle Normandy is a beautifully restored property in Bayeux. The staff went out of their way to help us in every way. They even made sure we had coffee and croissants before leaving at 5:30 a.m. to catch our train back to Paris. Rooms were large and impeccably clean. It’s the only place we would ever to stay in Bayeux. Loved it!

The people were amazing that work here. The food was very good. The place could use nicer plantings

Wonderful stay at Bell Normandy…friendly staff, clean bright room and easy walk to many places to dine as well as historic old part of the town.
