Cozy Cabin

Best Cabin on the Lake

Beautiful Serene Cabin Overlooking Lake
Posted Jul. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband and I stayed for 3 wonderful nights at this little cabin. It was clean and immaculate. Every morning we loved sitting outside looking at the view of the lake. The cabin had everything we needed. Slept amazing! Great choice for us! Thank you.

A true getaway
Posted Oct. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayI booked this trip to literally get away for a little while. This location, and time of year, is perfect for that. Tourist season around that area has pretty much shut down by this time of year, so i was one of the only people in the collection of cabins directly around. So other than a vehicle from time to time, the only noise was the lake and the wind in the trees. The cabin itself was perfect too. A cozy little two bed, with a nice fireplace, and half wrap around deck, which was perfect for having my morning coffee, while watching the sun come up over the mountains on the other side of the lake. The only improvement i could possibly think of would be to get a new shower head. That's an extremely minor thing, but the one that's there has an better days. Other than that, my stay in this cabin couldn't have been better. It was exactly what I needed.

Loved it!
Posted Sep. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing I would change is the sofa bed, it was not comfortable at all. The beds were nice, the views was wonderful. If you have little kids it’s not ideal to fish from the cabin because it’s a hike to get down to the shore but it’s not hard to drive to go fish somewhere. My kiddos are 18 months, 5 and 8. It was a little hard to find at first so I definitely recommend getting to your cabin when it’s plenty of daylight and time to find it. We truly enjoyed our family time here and we would stay here again.

Family trip with our four kids
Posted Jun. 21, 2023 on HomeAwayThe cabin was adorable and felt kind of vintage rustic. The little cabin neighborhood seemed a little bit shady but at least we were the only ones there. The lake access was gorgeous and the view from the window was beautiful! The pics on the listing made it seem bigger than it actually was but the space was sufficient even for my crazy kids. The bothersome thing about the house was that the foundation seemed to be very crooked and the floor was not level at all! My husband and I have fixed a few houses with this awful problem so it bothered us more than the average person probably. All in all- it was a lovely memory.

Nice location

Perfect Romantic Hideaway
Posted Sep. 27, 2021 on HomeAwayOut of town perched on a picturesque waterside, this cabin has everything you need. Great amenities. Spotlessly clean. Fun games. A fire log. Excellent communication with the hose. Easy to find. Not to far to restaurants and town. Just lovely!

Cute cabin, but not comfortable
Posted Aug. 23, 2021 on HomeAwayThis would have been a relaxing stay had it not been for quite a few things. There were incorrect WiFi instructions in 3 places - the web app, and 2 written docs in the cabin. We couldn’t connect until we figured out that there was a totally different WiFi and found the password on the router. The couch and chairs inside were so uncomfortable that we nearly left. The tub drained so slow that we stood in water while showering. The coffee pot had used grounds in it and the couch had a layer of dust on it when we checked in. The patio table and chairs had to be cleaned really well before we could use them. And someone had written “June” into the dust of the fireplace dustpan… and it was still there when we checked in, in late August. This place could be worth the $$ with new furniture and a good cleaning. (If nothing else, please please replace the couch…. It was like sitting on a brick and frankly, the plastic picnic table was the most comfortable place to sit at the cabin.)

Since your stay, we have resolved the WiFi issue and have the correct information in our unit notes as well as on Welcome Card in the home. Great rustic spot right on the reservoir
Posted Jul. 24, 2021 on HomeAwayGreat location with just a short (but steep) walk down to the shore. Very comfortable accommodations with everything you need and an amazing porch to enjoy the mountain lake views.
