Amazing boat house!
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation was amazing and perfect - super quiet, close to Farragut State Park (hiking, swimming), easy to get to (NO traffic, convenient parking spaces). The house was on a dock in the water!
House was super nice, very spacious and clean. It had 2 wings, we had our own space (own living room), lots of room to spread out. Beds were comfortable.
A few things:
*Hot water in the kitchen and bathroom get REALLY HOT - be careful with the shower, you could burn yourself!
*The lights all through the house are very bright with no way to soften - either dimmer switches or floor lamps would help.
*Dishes were dirty, washed everything before we used it.
*Bring your own wine glasses 😀

Lock box
Publié le 5 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe electronic lock on door did not work. I was not aware there was a lock box and did not have a code. My phone did not get service in that area. A neighbor finally came home and let me use his phone. I got code and key. Please let others know about lock box and code. Rest of visit was enjoyable

A wonderful place to getaway

Some other reviewers commented on furniture in the tv room- agree that the furniture in that room is a bit tired. It seemed ready for updating ( not comfy like furniture in the rest of the house) we stayed on a rainy weekend so used this room. However not at all a negative review of this property overall- it is wonderful!

Shabby Chic houseboat
Publié le 24 août 2023 sur HomeAwayA nice little floating home. Comfortable furniture, basic kitchen items for eating and cooking. Small bathroom with good water pressure and a lot of hot water. Great A/C unit kept us comfortable. The W/D is a combo unit for small loads of laundry. It doesn’t dry items well. Luckily the sun was hot so we draped our swimming towels outside to dry. Friendly neighbors on the dock. Great little coffee shop and cafe within walking distance.

Cute & quiet with great proximity to Silverwood
Publié le 15 août 2022 sur HomeAwayStaying in a floating house was a fun experience. It was very clean and checking in/out was a breeze. In my check in info, I knew there would be an additional $5/day for parking.
The unfortunate part - I’m not sure how it could sleep 6. The grey chair in the listing looked like a single fold out, but we couldn’t get it folded out all the way and even if we could, it didn’t sit level.
So my 12 year old ended up sleeping on the sofa in the main living room (luckily she’s not tall). The double bed would work for a small couple, but not really for 12 & 14 year olds to share.
We loved the proximity to Silverwood (our reason for being in Idaho) and enjoyed the sunsets on the little front porch in the evenings.
The coffee shop in the area is good and dining in the lake one night was also a great experience.

Lovely location

Please clean the spiders and bugs from the garage, and figure out how to close it. A regular coffee pot, or fillable pod would be helpful. There was also no parking pass as stated in the materials and check-in email. We had to pay for parking.
The accommodations were wonderful and we would absolutely come back.

Fun at Bayview
Publié le 27 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayWhat a cute boat house. Very good use of space that housed our family of 6 comfortably. Very clean and nice decor. Boat garage was a plus. A couple of annoyances was there was only a keurig coffee pot with no pods and no where near to buy them. Also it didn't even work once we found coffee. There is NO trailer parking anywhere near. Which is really frustrating because the house is set up to have your boat. Other than that it was great!

Nice, quiet spot really close to the state park
Publié le 21 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayI was playing in a three day disc golf tourney at Farragut state park. This location was perfect because it was only a 5 minute drive to the courses. It's very unique, being on a dock on the lake. There was a full kitchen, which was nice, and the wifi worked well, and the beds were pretty comfortable. It's a nice little place.
