Had everything required for holiday

The cons were that the heating/cooling system was very noisy and drowned out the TV whenever it cut in. The shower was barely adequate due to water pressure and being over the bath entirely unsuitable for elderly or disabled. The mattresses are VERY firm resulting in poor, uncomfortable sleep so we left property a day earlier than planned. Overall, expensive for the amenities provided but if you are looking for a rustic experience and young enough to cope with the discomfort then this may be the place for you.

We take all reviews seriously and make every effort to present the cottage on the website exactly as it is. We have attended the property to review the condition of the amenities and could not find fault with them. We will continue to monitor all amenities to ensure they remain up to standard and as presented. Additionally, we have updated the listing to highlight the shower over the standard bath. It is a shame that the property which is a Beachport original, was not a good match for you, and thank you for your feedback.

Perfect family getaway

Our city kids loved having the freedom to access the delights of Beachport on their own - the cinema, museum, playgrounds and milkshakes were just steps from the front door! Even more exciting was having the beach and jetty just a 2 minute walk away!

So handy to amenities, the beach and donut van by the jetty! We will definitely return. Be prepared to bring extra wash up liquid, clothes wash powder and toilet paper though as not enough was available for a family to use across a week long stay.
