Very close to Portage Lake, Bear Lake and Manistee. Updated room and very spacious. Fridge and microwave in room.

We have stayed at The Inn at the Alpine before and it never disappoints. The property is like an old time Motel from the '60s. Everything is very clean and comfy. The family that operates the motel are very nice and helpfiul. By far the most affordable option in the area. Their dog, Pork Chop will always make you smile. Well worth the trip. We will be back again for sure.

The couple was very friendly. Very nice location. I could only lock my door from the inside which was a bit odd. I would like to see them update the beds and some other amenities but overall Alpine is a diamond in the rough.
