Secluded waterfront home that is 5 min away from downtown Beaufort

Ballyhoo House is a waterfront house with exquisite views of the North River. It was rebuilt in 2022 to have a modern open floor layout. It has 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 full baths, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The backyard patio is very private and has amenities for most outdoor activities(gas grill, gas fire pit, 4lounge chairs, outdoor lighting, outdoor dinner area). The house also has a gameroom with foosball and pool table as well as an additional sectional couch that can double as another bedroom if needed. The driveway is quite large, it is wide enough to fit three cars side by side or your boat. Harkers Island bridge boat ramp is 9 miles away, Lennoxville boat ramp is 6 miles, and Radio island boat ramp is 6 miles away.

The host Adam was outstanding! We arrived early and he allowed us to check in before our scheduled time. The house was absolutely beautiful. My only concern was the cleaning staff was not great! There was dust everywhere on the counter tops and in the bathrooms. We actually had to clean before getting comfortable. Outside of that it was amazing!

Relaxing Getaway
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautifully renovated home. We spent mornings adventuring in Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach and afternoons relaxing in the hot tub or on the back deck or playing a game of pool, with evenings spent paddling on the kayaks that are available. This is birding paradise, be sure to bring binoculars! The host Adam lives right down the road and is there to help with anything you might need.

My family and I had a great time here. The location was absolutely perfect. It was close to a bunch of restaurants and things to do. The house was super clean and offered a great place to relax close to the beach. Was a fantastic host and we will definitely be rebooking at this location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and the location was very convenient for a quick drive into Beaufort or Morehead City. We loved the huge back deck and all of the nature and privacy. The host was very quick to respond to questions. We loved the layout of the home and all of the fresh, modern updates. The finished garage space was a nice bonus, especially since it was raining during so much of our stay. It was nice to hang out and play pool. We would stay again in the future.

Lovely house, in a quiet location but close to beaufort
The property was very welcoming, with wonderful use of artwork and ocean themed objects which blended in perfectly with the surrounding area. The house seems recently decorated with all furniture in good order. The kitchen is well appointed and, whilst we did not cook any meals whilst there, had everything you would need to do so. Outside, the deck provides a delightful addition to the house. Perched on the side of a small tidal waterway, we were lucky for February to be able to spend many hours watching the day go by. The hot tub was clean and a grill is also available for use. Beaufort Town center was 8 minutes away and Atlantic Beach around 15. The check in process was very easy. Don't expect to sign a rental agreement, you will get a text with the address, entry code along with where you can find the kayaks and sup board. There were no checkout instructions so we just left the house clean. Adam was very responsive when I texted him, the reply took less than 2 mins. Great house, host and mini vacation.

Fantastic House - Highly Recommend
Loved this house! Beautiful renovation with all the amenities you need to feel at home. We had a group of 7 and we fit comfortably here and felt like everyone had their own space. We were a short drive from downtown Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach. We got to meet Adam the host, who was incredibly friendly and personable. All in all great stay, would recommend to anyone!
