What a view!
Publié le 23 août 2023 sur HomeAwayA cosy cottage at the top of a hill surrounded by woods and fields. The first drive up the hill might be an experience but then one gets used to it (just take your time).
Moalnaceap has everything you need to enjoy your stay and is a great place to tour the Highlands:
Inverness, Loch Ness, the Black Isle, Glen Affric, Ullapool and Assynt... There's so much to do and see!

Refuge cosy

nice cottage on the top of a hill, in a remote area. With an attentive owner.
Publié le 11 août 2017 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely time in this remote little house. Our only neighbours were the sheep.
The area is nice and very quiet.
The owner looked after us we'll, when we had a cooker problem. As she lives quite a way away, she made sure we were looked after by someone living locally.
The surrounding views were astounding. We loved the long early summer days, and the very brief showers followed by the sun (which have a dry ground 10 minutes later).

Wunderschöne Lage
Publié le 9 août 2023 sur HomeAwayDie Lage ist einfach wunderschön und man hat keine unmittelbaren Nachbarn. Genau wie wir es wollten. Einzig der doch etwas dolle Hundegeruch von den Vormietern hat uns manchmal etwas gestört. Aber da Haustiere erlaubt sind kann das kein Minuspunkt sein.

A very comfortable cottage with lovely views across the countryside. Very handy for us with our golden retrievers visiting the Guisachan Gathering in nearby Tomich

Disgusting cottage- PLEASE STAY AWAY
Publié le 10 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayOn arrival the smell on opening the door was disgusting, floors dirty, kitchen filthy, kitchen pots,pans, plates, cutlery absolutely disgusting not been washed, kids bed had blue throws over them that were covered in dog hair and the same room had bugs crawling over the walls, had to clean the place before letting our children in and the next morning we have to leave when my son woke up with ticks that had bitten into his stomach so stays for about 20hours instead of 4 days and the owner doesn’t care and told me if I contact her again I would get reported for harassment. I would give it a zero rating but doesn’t have that option. Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS COTTAGE. Definitely one for environmental health to visit. No refund offered so had to go through my bank

In response to your unfounded review, we would like you to consider the following:-
1. As an owner I responded to your initial message within minutes of receiving it on my personal mobile.
2. You left the property without giving anyone the opportunity to discuss things.
3. You provided no evidence whatsoever, so your claims are unfounded.
4. We have had 5 star reviews either side of your attendance. My cleaner is excellent and we have NEVER had anything but praise re the cleanliness of the cottage.
5. We do not take kindly to being harrassed by guests!
We are extremely disappointed at your behaviour.

Unieke plek!
Publié le 13 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayHeel fijn verblijf gehad in dit huis op een prachtige locatie. Zelfs herten gezien laat op de avond.
Mooi schoon huis wat van alle gemakken voorzien is. Niet super luxe maar voor ons meer dan fijn! Locatie is uniek. Weggetje naar het huis toe is ietwat stijl en was met de motor een beetje een uitdaging. Gelukkig had het al enige tijd niet geregend. Wij gaan zo weer terug!

Peaceful and restorative

Furniture is comfortable, kitchen has what you need (and the slow cooker was very handy!)
The host was very quick to respond when we had an issue (which was dealt with efficiently and effectively).
We would happily stay again!
