We were only going to stay one night and ended up staying two nights! It was just a fun, old hotel. We saw the planes fly in and out in the morning.

A Jewel on the Plain (and plane)
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HotelsThis place is a welcome trip back in time, yet the rooms are updated and quite comfortable. The hotel is decorated in an aviation and motorcycling theme. A wonderfully quiet and relaxed place. Definitely was a first for me, seeing a plane rolling down the street for a visit. The restaurant is excellent too, worth the trip by itself.

What was unique was that I was the only guest in the hotel, area was very quiet, parking is great. The not so good issues, there are no amenities, the dining area is open on certain days and closes pretty early, closest restaurant is about 22 miles away, no vending machines available, there is no front desk, but manager is responsive when she is called. The location is in a very rural area, so this hotel is great to get away for rest and relaxation. Room was clean and neat.

There is only the hotel and a lot of history in this town. The TV did not work and management was rude. I would not stay here again.

Quaint, relaxing, unique, and nostalgic
