Dawn and Jeff are excellent hosts and the home and grounds exceeded expectation. The property is very well maintained and spotless.

Lake Superior beauty

Wonderful Home in the woods

The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of room for 12 people (8 adults and four kids). The home was well supplied with all the necessary things we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much and would come back again.

Lovely Lodge
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThree generations of our family spent a week at this "Lake Superior Retreat". It was the perfect house for us. The house is a miniature of a National Park lodge with three levels of wood planking on the walls, soaring great room, wood beams, open floor plan, and a well equipped and roomy kitchen and dining area. The three floors with two bedrooms and a family room on the lower level allowed the younger family members a place to "hang out". The large dining room table was a perfect size for all of us to gather for dinner and games. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were furnished with plenty of hot water and towels. The large deck and two tables provided us with a nice outdoor dining space. We used the clean gas grill to prepare some of our meals. Communication with Dawn (the host) was prompt and easy. The only down side was limited useable shore line. There are, however, many state parks close by for hiking and useable shoreline. I'd definitely recommend this rental and will likely stay here again.

For our family and friends, it is a sanctuary.

Perfect Lake Superior Retreat
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had the most lovely stay at this property. Communication with Dawn was easy, check in was flawless, and the place looked immaculate upon arrival. The place offered the solitude we were seeking. The beach area was enjoyable for resting, campfires, and climbing on the rocks. The home was spacious and beautifully kept. We loved all of the views. Especially from the master bedroom/balcony and from the very large deck. We have kids of all ages and each of them loved it. The air hockey table and huge TV gave us a break in the evening. Thank you for everything!

Loved Lake Superior Retreat!

Amazing property for secluded vacation

Huge kitchen and dining area stocked with everything you need. The location is great in the middle of 3 state parks and close to two harbors. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat

New Family Tradition
