A third bedroom has a pull-out queen sofa bed, and the fourth includes a single/twin bunk bed, perfect for kids. My friends and stayed in Blacksmith Lodge 1# for a week and found it to be an excellent ski in /out location. The condo was comfortable and well equipped and we have no hesitation in recommending it to fellow travellers.

Great spot for family ski vacation
We had a great stay in Big White for spring break. The condo was perfect for ski in/ski out and enough space for our two families. Owner was quick to respond and we felt very much at home. Hot tub was perfect after a full day on the slopes. Had amazing views of the Fireworks show on Saturday night. We will definitely be back

The owner was friendly and responsive. The property is excellent for two to three couples. The ski-in- ski-out is excellent. The walk to the village is easy enough if you're fit. If you're less fit, you will be fitter by the end of your trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location at Big White, easy ski-in and ski-out! Very clean townhome with pretty much everything you need for a group to stay for a week or a weekend. Can't wait to stay here again.

Perfect Family Vacation
We had a wonderful week with family at Blacksmith Lodge #1. Our family has been going to Big White for several years, along with friends and their families, and this year we finally found the perfect spot! Our family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 1 young adult, and 2 kids under 5 had ample space for play and quiet, meals together, and downtime. The location and layout can't be beat!

Just home from a fantastic week at #1 Blacksmith Lodge at Big White. It was really all one could ask for. Owner was friendly and prompt with replies to inquires. I would recommend this unit to friends.

Fantastic stay
Our visit was a fantastic experience on the mountain and at the rental unit. Blacksmith Lodge was exactly as advertised and came with a well appointed kitchen and all the basics to start our stay. It is a true ski in/ ski out property and the hot tub hit the spot after a day on the slopes. Two king sized bedrooms upstairs and bedrooms downstairs easily accommodated our family of 5 adults. We received quick replies to any questions we had from the host too. We will be back!

Excellent place for families
For skiing, the place is excellent. Well stocked. Only surprise was one bedroom (bunkroom) is effectively tucked behind the rec/TV room (which has a pull out couch and is the "4th bedroom"). This might have been clearly stated but I missed it. Either way, it worked fine for us. Views are amazing. Most activities other than skiing (skating, bars, shops) are a long walk or a short drive away, but that did not adversely affect us. Owner is excellent to deal with.

Perfect Big White vacation.
We had a fantastic week at the property. The house was prefect for our group. Ski in/out, hot tub, fireplace, what more could you ask for. The house has everything we needed including baby gate and pack 'n play. Kitchen is well stocked with essentials and also has a slow cooker and coffee maker.

Perfect family accomodation
This home was perfect for our group: 2 couples with 3 children aged between 2 and 4. Beautiful inside, great kitchen for family cooking, great bedrooms + bathrooms, room for 1 car inside garage and one right outside. Plenty of room for ski storage with a heated boot cupboard. Skis can be put on at the backdoor (if the plough doesn't cover it) and you can ski within 10m at the end of the day. Warm, very clean, cosy and with a great view out of the living room. Can't recommend this place enough. We loved it, thank you.
