Family trip of a lifetime
Publié le 31 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayOur blended family wanted a place where we had enough space for everyone but where we could all come together as a family to enjoy our ski trip vacation. Marlena’s place did not disappoint. From the perfect location, to the comfortable sleeping arrangements and fully equipped kitchen we had everything we needed right where we needed it and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. We hope to stay here again!

Another great trip to Big White

Ski Tour Canada 2024
Publié le 5 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayJust an awesome ski chalet with the best, super helpful and friendly host! The location for ski in/out is perfect. Great lounge and kitchen. We were 2 couples - so one upstairs, one down. Enjoyed the deck hot tub.
We highly recommend this chalet and hope to return.

Glad you had a great stay Roger. I personally washed all the bedding but unfortunately there is a bleach stain on the inside of the duvet that turned the grey to yellow. I will switch it out. In future please do not park outside my garage door as per instructions as I had several notices from my strata council. My townhouse has 1 spot in my garage and 1 against the snow bank under the lift (where your Jeep was). Thanks hope you enjoy the rest of the ski season!

BW family getaway with grandma
Publié le 5 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayOur multi-generational family had a great experience during our stay at Big Pow! The property was accurately described, the pictures portray the amenities very well. Exceptionally clean upon arrival; appreciative of many extra amenities including coffee, sugar, spices, popcorn & laundry supplies🙂The ski in/ ski out was very convenient- a bit of a hike to the village, but manageable. Very fun to watch & wave the skiers on the plaza chair right out the window. Communication was excellent with Marlena who sent a message as soon as the unit was ready for check-in; she also checked in with us mid stay. The only negative for us was the comfort of the beds- too soft for those of us with back problems who prefer a firmer mattress. I ended up taking the foam topper off the second upstairs bedroom for increased comfort. Overall a great unit, kids space on lower floor a bonus & owners very accommodating- would book the unit again.

We are happy to host your family again Rhea in the near future! Thanks for taking the time to write a review. For a firmer mattress, perhaps try the queen in the main floor bedroom- it's new within last few years, firm from Costco.
On the Queen platform bed in the 2nd upstairs bedroom, I added the topper as I felt the mattress was too firm. So another option is to remove the topper next time you stay. Thanks again for the feedback, see you again!

All around amazing
Publié le 3 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayLoved loved this Chalet ! The host is lovely and always responded to our?? right away. The location was perfect ,easy ski in, ski out and just a short walk to the village. This chalet is well equipped with everything you will need in the kitchen and the bathroom has lots of towels. The beds are super comfy. Supplies are plentiful and everything is labeled. When you are not skiing there is a games room with a Nintendo Wii lots of video games to choose from and plenty of board games .
We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for sharing your Big White home .
